An amazing video series, which was extremely helpful. It covered the entirety of semiconductors and transistors and explained each concept in detail, unlike the textbooks that we usually study from. Mahesh Shenoy's animated voice and enthusiasm keeps you focused and interested throughout. Loved it. I would equally love a series on class 12 magnetism or electrostatics, or pretty much any other class 12 topic.
I am extremely grateful for this fabulously well presented and explained series. I always explore RUclips for educational video. Unfortunately, i always get these hipsters, more concerned with moving their arms about and wearing a t-shirt with some irrelevant message. Your methodology and pedagogy, Mr Shenoy, is outstanding. We see an interest in teaching. Thank you.
The way you represent every separate stuffs with different colors is amazing . Your English accent is way better than average Indians . . Love your videos .
Hi there! Loved the whole playlist. I'm a teacher myself and it'd be really helpful if you shared the screen-writing platform you're using. Thanks in advance.
I was damn confused and felt sleepy when I was taught in my classes. Thanks to you! You've cleared all my doubts and confusion! Taught it so well. Thanks...superb playlist
Sir I'm having a major doubt... A resistor is used for reducing current flow. So, if a resistor is placed in the emitter region, won't the electrons coming from the base region due to reverse biasing get resisted? And if they get resisted, there won't be any current, right?
Well shyd, Ic was zero because the path through the npn was not allowing it to flow, but after connection of led, Ic has an alternate path to go through the led to ground, thus Ic is not zero when led is connected but the current going into the npn is zero
At 02:26, you mentioned that a maximum current flows in the case of saturation But won't the maximum current face resistance due to the resistor? Then how will a current even flow from collector to base? Kindly clarify sir.
I hate studying. My book says one thing but another book says another thing about the same topic. Now one might ask I follow two books because I give board exams and they didn't follow any specific books. After I finish reading those two books and check yt turns out they hole concept the book wrote was unnecessarily complex.
Sir in zener diode case you told that it is a non ohmic device .so being short cicuited the led will glow but here u r saying that it will not glow. So sir is transistor an ohmic device...?
In the case where zener diode is used, there also resistance is used and that resistance drops the voltage to zener voltage breakdown, which depends on the material used for diode. But if we short circuit in zener diode bulb would glow but battery will blow up. And there is a difference bw zener diode and a Transistor.
After roaming through 4-5 books, spending more than a week and trying to understand transistors, finally i somehow landed upon khan academy. I literally understood the beauty of transistors in 2 hours! THANK YOU SO MUCH KHAN ACADEMY!!!!!

Awesome series Mr Shenoy..
Waiting for Electricity and Magnetism playlist...
playlist?
Hats off to this kind of explanation.
Best playlist of semiconductor ever seen
These videos are so incredible and I can't thank enough for how much you've helped me clear all these topics! I am so grateful!!
Thanks a lot for the amazing series on semiconductors .
The chapter which I feared the most..now feels strong !
Watched full from beginning to end, can assure this is the best possible explanation for this topic in this whole world.
honestly this changed my life!
struggle of two year to understand BJT!
Very well explained Sir Mahesh! Thankyou!!
The way you represent every separate stuffs with different colors is amazing . Your English accent is way better than average Indians . . Love your videos .
You're my saviour! I'm watching this just a night before my exams, because my professors said to study it my own. Thank you Khan Academy.
this is a lot better than any other circuit diagram i have ever seen , great!
Thanks a lot sir..
You're using a superb presentation program for teaching electronic. Thank you so much!
Best series on semiconductors
Sir, please clarify my doubt. In cutoff state.. That means( switch - OFF)... The.. Ic=o rgt!!. Then how can the led glow??
The LED is grounded, all charges flow through the LED to the ground
Hi there! Loved the whole playlist. I'm a teacher myself and it'd be really helpful if you shared the screen-writing platform you're using. Thanks in advance.
It's a free ware called 'sketchbook'
Oh wow... I understood you used some illustrator type software. But how did you achieve those frame animations depending on switch position?
JazakAllah khair Brother❤️
Amazing lecture, thank you very much sir
I wasn't going to watch this one as it is fairly basic, but you make it interesting and your enthusiasm is catching.. 🙂
Thank you so much sir. You explained the topic in the best possible way.
Nice video. Best explanation of this chapter ever.

at least you were taught in class🙁
@@anand_patel_91 At least u had teacher

Thanks. Waiting for magnetism!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot for this great dedication sir🙏..... these transistor videos were superb🔥 and all my earlier confusions about them were settled...
Sir, This is awesome..
Thanks mahesh sir!
Thank you so much Sir
Thank you so much...... I really really appreciate your effort....I was struggling to grasp this concept. You made it pretty easy.
Saved my life❤️
Thanks, I had fun learning. Literally.
God end our waiting for the magnetism chapter as exams are coming😢 .... Thank you sir
Amazing series 👍👍
Great Video, Thank You So Much for providing this content
thanks a lot sir, you have no idea how much of a great help this is to us and the way you teach oh my god!!!thanks again
Thank you for this amazing series Khan Academy👏❤️
Sir you haven't uploaded videos about the logic gates.....
How does that led will glow ? In the cutoff region Ic is almost zero. So how does that Led can glow ? 🤔

@@parthpandya6412 thanks bro , i was very confused about that , but today i got the answer thanks a lot man. 😊🙏.
@@batboltalk7729 glad to help!
Can u upload any videos related to common base, common emitter
Thank uu sir!!!!!!
At 02:26, you mentioned that a maximum current flows in the case of saturation

Kindly clarify sir.
Resistance is used to drop voltage. And the current u are talking about is amplified. IC= beta times IB
that's an awesome video!!!
Love these videos.....they are really helpful.....awesome
Awesome
Please make it on transistor as an oscillator
When the led glows, will the 1k resistor have voltage drop? Or will the led get the full 3v?
Led will get full 3V.
for the saturation part.....The Ic is supposed to be 0..so the charges means frm the Vsource?and enter the LED?
I mean the cut off
Waiting for wave optics

Feeling lucky!

Sir how does the voltage drop occurs
Voltage drop = current* resistance
🤯

6:41 how do you that i am watching your video with that ditto same laptop !!!!!! HORRIFIC
So I am here after I've literally botched up my exam, just to make it up. Yes. I'm that desperate.
