Satin’s soldiers are out there; yesterday you came across one of them. He was hoping you take the bait but you did not. You are a principled, wise man and you won the fight by standing by those principles. Continue on your righteous path and beware of the sinful fools that walk (or drive) among us. You won the fight, end of story.

I've been through the same situation. When I lived in Northern California. When I first started driving truck. I live in a small town in northern California. Everyone that I worked with or around wear white. I'm not. And I've been to a lot of lumber Mills in Northern California. So when all them guys that worked around. Don't mess with him. Is big one badass Indian.
And yes I am. This was in the late 80s. I hold a lot of lumber to Southern California.
So a lot of them stores and lumber yards. They had heard about me in my black truck.
And not to miss me. Once in a while you get some smart-ass. Once he got to look at me.
Mellow. Real quick. And I didn't even have to say anything. I don't smile so I look pissed off all the time. I live in Missouri same thing goes over here. I've driven dump trucks and mixers to job site. And if they gave me any s*** at tell him where to go.. so you're saying just and how you feel my friend. But sometimes you got to stand up and speak out.🤙🏾👍🏽😊😎.
I think you did the right thing by walking away. Cuz if you're in the truck stop do you know most of them drivers are a white. And guess what they're going to do to you. They're all going to jump you. If you had someone backing you up or standing up with next to you that's a different story.
But yep is not worth it.
He's probably thinking right now it's a good thing you walked away he'll probably kick my ass.

Intellectually you know you did the right thing. I know exactly how you feel though, walking away makes you feel like you showed weakness. But honestly, as you get older you realize its such a stupid thing dealing with people like that, that nothing good comes from it and having the strength to just walk away is absolutely the right thing to do and it bothers you less. Unless your in danger, or someone else is in danger, if you have the opportunity to walk away from a nut job like that, your better off. Now that I am in my 50's, walking away from a situation like that I realize avoiding a stupid confrontation is the goal. Why waste any stress, physical altercation or even words on a dummy like that. Avoiding stuff like that in life is greatly preferable. :)
