I have worked on this video off and on for almost a year. I had a busy year so I had to mothball the vid a couple of times...did not have time to work on it(family first), but here it is....finally.

Awesome work. My favorite part has to be 3:24 when the guy goes flying and screaming in mid air. I spit my coffee on my desk when I saw it and kept replaying it, lol. One of THE best ArmA films I've seen!

I pretty sure IIN8II was talking about more content for the MOD Jurassic Arma. IIN8II is well aware of the amount of content for Arma because has filmed Arma fan films before. If I may can I get some tips from time to time I love the idea of mission editing..and creating missions..but I have been away from Arma for over a year..and I have the urge to get back into the fold..
Why this doesn't have more views especially since it was published in 2014 is beyond me, this is a pretty epic and badass vid, what you pulled off and did in this was amazing, everything is in sync, it must have been a tremendous amount of work and creativity to come up with this.

Welcome, it seems the community dont appreciate or realize what it takes to do this stuff, this took you what like more then a week to build?
Took almost a year but I did not work on it for large stretches of time, probably 2 to 3 months of work...mostly because the Real Virtuality engine is not meant to do certain things I did in the video, took some time to get certain shots.
Amazing, I admire your dedication and your ability to be creative when things look challenging, video turned out well, look forward to seeing more in the future!

How long did it take?
I worked on it for just under a year, but there were long stretches where I did very little because of work(very busy, thankfully). If I worked on the video consistently it probably would have taken about 3 months

But you totally mastered it! I tried making an Arma III movie but the AI jsut doesn't wanna cooperate :D
I may be doing some tutorials on some of the things I did to film certain scenes, particularly keeping the AI in place for filming animations at different times.
This is the best of all arma films ... greats vfx effects,camera effects just best fan film ! Like & subscribe.Very good job man :)

DubstepGam3r I'm aware of the squeakers in Arma. They hop on Wasteland and act like they should. If they come into a Tac Realism or Insurgency server they get their asses banned by server admins. I've seen that happen way too many times. I wish I was German sadly I'm in the US not sure if my family originated from Germany but I guess I have to ask my grandfather.
ok i must say my son is 12 and he has a voice like a 16 years old in the us. kids in the us have a voice (when they are 12) like a fucking baby (sorry for my bad english mate)
DubstepGam3r Not all of them are bad though. I've played with some pretty mature ones in the past. I'm more against the ones who go on a server that has rules on both the loading screen and at the spawn that tell them they need to go on TS3, or Raidcall and they ignore the rules then go off and say they don't actually have too. Then they complain and whine about it when they're reminded of the rules. It annoys the hell out of me and ruins my fun. The ones that act like four years olds need to stay in Wasteland or DayZ the rest who act mature enough can come to the Tactical Realism, Patrol Ops, or Insurgency servers. I play ACE/ACRE Insurgency sometimes to get away from the kids and trolls and assholes of Arma. But sometimes I'll go back to the Domination, and Insurgency servers just to have fun. Not all US kids are bad the ones that are need to go back to CoD and TF2 where they belong.
Outstanding work! Probably the best Arma fan film out there. As I watched, I couldn't help but think of it it as a Michael Bay Machinima - great cinematic techniques all around. The simulated handheld camera footage and lens clutter really took it to the next level. With all the scripting of animations involved, I'm surprised it only took you a year! Congratulations on a stellar accomplishment.

what got me was the the roof scene, when he yelled surprise! and blew them all the fuck up.

This is like a damn blockbuster movie! Did you just use GCAM as your main tool for capturing the scenes or the camera.sqs scripts too?
Also how on earth did you not get any FPS drops when recording all these explosions and AI haha, it didn't look like you were even below 30 fps for the whole video :O You must have a NASA computer :P
I have a little trick I use when filming an movie in Arma. I set the in game speed to 70% and then speed it back up 30% in the video editor, so the scenes that have a FPS drop look smoother.
What a trick! So "setacctime=0.7;" ? That's a very clever technique there, would it be possible to use in multiplayer where I am flying and the FPS is around 18 during intensive situations?

This is just awesome! But how do you force the AI to put landing gear down (like in the Ospreys) I have been trying various init codes, but the AI just won't put the landing gear down, and it breaks the heli every time I try and film the scene! :/
I could not get the gear down so I just landed them while recording with unit capture/unit play to see what would happen, when the were on the ground the gear extended.
ahh I see. Did you setup multiple unitplay/capture scripts in order to play back 3 different Osprey's landing different spots?
