- Parkouring with Minecraft Create, But it's More Realistic... and scuffed... and laggy... and-
I decided to build my own Parkour with the Create mod in Minecraft, but with a twist. Instead of making it in an empty superflat world, I built a more natural area for it. I think it turned out pretty alright, especially since I used the minecraft create mod for the first time.
The map took 3 days to build and about 2 hours to beat. I'm very aware of the low FPS, but I haven't realized just how bad my PC is until I was nearly done with the map, and I didn't want it all to go to waste ;-;

Yes if you have a good pc I've tried running the mod on my laptop and oh boy I didn't crash but the lag was not that bad I played on a superflat world with the void tag so its just a platform in the sky without any entities or anything but its hard making the contraptions I don't know if I'm just super dumb or its actually that hard you need above average IQ and I'm just average the parkour is fun tho I'm an OK parkour player in Minecraft so it is fun to jump from block to block but man thinking of making a machine is hard

I've seen a lot of "Parkour with Create" videos, and this is by far the best one I've seen.
This sounds weird, but... it feels like a portal chase sequence directly translated into Minecraft...

Seeing Minecraft move in such a way is both cool and kinda vanilla looking which I like. The factory bit at the start is really cool.
All of this makes Minecraft look like a 3d puzzle platformer, imagine all the potential. Super amazing, stupendous job.

This is my favorite one! The other ones have super easy parkour and they hesitate too often. This ones actually realistic and has good parkour skills!

This is the closest I have seen to good looking parkour in minecraft because it does not force the player to go one way! You can go on many different paths while there is still the amazing path that you intended players to run.

This right here is why Create is so god damn cool. It's more than just another tech mod that allows you to automate everything. It's expands on the very idea that minecraft is about, expressing your creativity and building amazing things. By far my favorite tech mod available right now, and I won't be removing it from my mod list any time soon.

Only 3 days?! As a map maker I’m surprised and impressed.Of course I don’t use mods or plugins so it’s extremely hard and miserable but fun. Though I’ve lost almost all motivation because I lost my account 5 times in a row. I had some massive maps I built one that took 5 years...

Small indents in the wall. Filled with a black block in the back would make the platforms coming out of the walls look like they are coming out of a dark mine shaft instead of just appearing in a wall and disapearing in another.
Otherwise 0 complaints. This looks fun even for a non parkour player like myself. Everything flows so well

Thanks! I hate it... watching things move so smoothly in Minecraft makes me feel like I’m having an aneurysm. It looks interesting and impressive, but Ow, maybe if this was combined with a different texture pack and/or RTX it wouldn’t drive me crazy
