Another wonderful idea and tutorial!!! It was also important to see what to do when the stone doesn't snap in :))) i bet it would be like that for most of us! :))) thank you!!
Thanks. I made this in a couple of days (had to practice a couple of steps). It didn't come out perfectly the first time but fairly nice. You make a couple of steps look easier than they are. In particular, I used the Lion Punch Forge tool, the Lion's Claw Silver to gently hold the right angle ring in place on the shank during soldering.
Can you make a tutorial on how to make our own tube wires? It's hard to find ready made wires in all the sizes that we want, especially in 18kt gold, so it would be nice to know how to make them ourselves.
I call these sticking points, you learn a lot as you work your way through them. Of course its frustrating, it wouldn't be a challenge otherwise. Once you have nailed it, you will be so proud of your self! 😊
I accidentally melted the first earrings i ever tried to make. It happens. This is how you learn. Besides, precious metals are reusable, so nothing is lost.
Beautiful ring and an amazing video Peter!
(11:58) So easy, it’s almost embarrassing!!!! 🥰🥰🎉🎉
Beautiful, thanks Peter, now I know how to make my tension earrings. You are awesome!!! 😊😊😊

Great tutorial.
Спасибо большое, очень полезная информация!!!
Thank you so much.
I have a 3.8mm stone that I would like to do this with. What dimensions should I have on the shank and butterfly piece?
Are there certain brittle stones that won't work in a setting like this; emerald for example?
Yes I would be cautious with fragile gem stones

WelI I tried this today and it didn't work. Just plain frustration, 4 hours down the tubes.
I can't even count how many projects I have felt like that with. I hope ur next project works out better ❤
