Also, if you are simultaneously a fan of long form storytelling and ECW level intensity in your content, a workaround is to organize it like a league with teams, captains, and a GM that frame a competition greater than any single title. Under this format, storylines can move forward no matter who is individually injured. It also pushes Kayfabe in a serious way because a spot on a team would be challenged and potentially compromised by an injury, or any other element involved with team sports storylines.
I'm not gonna lie, being lucky enough to witness Ospreay/Ricochet/Takeshita live and in person just makes it that much easier to say it's my match of the year, without fail every time that Billy Goat comes to the ring we all know it'll be that much better

It's 2024, please don't give Meltzer more recognition. All the dirtsheet marks who grew up in the 2000s hold him in high regard for no reason. The bias is so much more prevalent in recent times. Why should people change their opinion on someone based off how you feel?
The people that value his opinion do so because they share the same qualities he does. Nothing wrong with that. If you have the same tastes as someone you’d value their opinion on things as well.
And dirt sheets have never been presented as 100% truth. There’s nothing wrong with reporting on rumors. If some idiot takes rumors as facts that’s not the fault of the dirt sheet. That’s the idiots fault.
