I've been toying around with a similar budew/froslass idea, very much in the same realm as venomoth/froslass but my current concept focuses a bit more on the controlly part of things - I run trolley to get the ideal bench up quickly, with arezu to immediately get the froslass, and i'm also trying out grabber/xerosic/memo to really focus on hand disruption and limiting manual pokemon evolutions, along with some hammers and gravity gemstone to just try and get things gummed up in active, The core idea being that I really wanna exploit how quickly this deck can recover relative to venomoth/froslass, making sure that chain of item locks doesn't get broken
I know I’m maybe in the minority in the comments but I like Budew. It will have an effect kind of like Garbotoxin had, I think and will slow the game down and require people to reconsider how they build their decks and make plays.
@@ResidentKlinton people are just sad that aggro decks are going to have to take a backseat for a bit. im excited for resource management to become more important
This card needs to be banned. Item lock is a deck, and it should not be a utility. “But.. butbut it slows down the game!” The format already slows down greatly post-rotation, so this just makes the game slow as molasses in space. It’s seismitoad ex without a downside. It’s a “join or die” like ADP, Lugia and Zard was. Ban it.
Pokemon Company: ‘We regret printing seismitoad EX.’
Also TPCI: *Prints this abomination*
They haven’t learned at all and are screwing over all their decks. It’s a “join or die” like ADP was.

Everyone Gangster Until Budew Begins to Outrank Seismitoad EX and Banette EX.
Rest in Piss Banette EX: 2024-2025.
Elekid teched into miraidon to counter budew?

This card is def. a big mistake.
If rocky helmet did 1 more damage counter it could legit be a budew counter 🤣
Budew about to run the meta :)

(Prediction) 1 WEEK LATER AFTER RELEASE; EMERGENCY BANLIST: BUDEW BANNED!!!

The worst designed card ever.
The worst take ever.
@noname-pp2vd I love to be in the minority. But I still think I am right. I would be happy to be wrong.
