What is it about your performances? Always clean, precise, inventive and impeccable. Also at times filled with joy, adventure and cleverness.
Then it hit me. Every video is a masterclass in dynamics - from mellow softness to stinging staccatos. Not just sentences, you tell stories with your fingers.
I’ve been playing the piano for over 23+ years.
I say it’s her style of playing. As you’ve accurately described: clean and impeccable ... It’s What i like about her style too. Not too flashy but not too boring either. Just the right amount of harmonics without drowning out the melody. Perfect touch, dynamics are not all over the place. Consistent, smooth. But at the same time offers a bit of pleasant complexity in her choice of chords which I really admire.

How much time would you say it took you to get this good? I’m picking up my Piano on Wednesday and I’m just curious.
I’ve been playing for over 25 years and have two college degrees in jazz piano performance but started with classical as a kid and it all adds up to being able to play by ear and do my own arrangements-but that being said this version is pretty simple so :)
