Awesome, great to have the Aqua/Prius C back. My favorite car from my favorite car manufacturer. Driven the Yaris didn't like it at all compared to my 2018 Prius C.

The successors to the Axio and Fielder (Corolla and Corolla Touring respectively) have already been released in Japan. They may take some time to reach export markets as there may not be enough units ready to go to the second-hand market just yet.

21 год выпуска он пока не проходной.Можно взять его только за полную пошлину. А за эти деньги проще купить в салоне лексуса,с левым рулём,миллиона так за 3))))
Жалко что не проходной для России, а то бы взял я думаю такой комплектации ляма 1,5 будет. Сегодня можно Приуса в 55 4вд взять

Would make more sense if it was full electric with a 200 mile range or thereabouts
Can’t understand Toyota who pioneered hybrid cars back in the nineties
And seem to be lacking in bringing electric cars to the market.
Why and how would it make more sense? Not everyone is looking for an electric car. The previous versions could easily go upto 450 - 500 miles and this one can go upto 600 miles (maybe more than that), and here you're asking for 200 miles electric car? Also, Aqua is supposed to be a cheaper hybrid car. If they had turned it into an electric, the price would've gone way up.

My wife has a 2.0 litre Corolla hybrid very underpowered can’t imagine how this performs not safe for quick overtaking on motorways with cvt
Gearbox ok for a runabout would work out cheaper to run over a period of three years if it was electric as infrastructure is rapidly growing and can charged at off peak times at home or work place
Servicing on Ev cars a lot cheaper fuel prices here keep increasing
Hybrid technology now becoming outdated I hope Toyota bring out an ev soon and hope it’s a lot better than the Lexus ux ev .
@@stevesinclair1791 Then you're asking specifically for your own country, and if it's not available there in the first place then what's the point? They've also discontinued it in America and Australia, so what you should be asking for is the car itself first then maybe an electric version of it. Toyota mainly sells this car in Japan and some other Asian countries (unofficially) and they sell it as a cheap hybrid version of the actual Prius (basically for younger buyers, or at least that was their philosophy), so making it into an electric car and increasing the price wouldn't really make sense.
And don't worry about Toyota not introducing electric cars because they've already announced one (bZ4X) which will go on sale by the middle of 2022, and they also have plans to release a lot more by 2025.
Toyota actually *did* pioneer electric cars with a minicar and the first two gen of RAV4 EV, they found there was limited demand. (That remains true today everywhere except Norway.) Toyota also produces several EV models for China to meet NEV regulations.
Hybrids are beginning to be a more preferred electrification method again for the near-term. The US DoE and China have soured on BEVs in recent cost benefit analyses.

I prefer the Honda Fit (Jazz) over this. I think the Honda looks much better than this, both exterior and interior. It's more practical and spacious as well.
