Spawn of Possession for life! Noctambulant is such a good album. The rhythms in Eve of Contempt, the nasty in Sour Flow, the amazing rollercoaster ride of Scorched, the technicality + groove of Render my Prey and Solemn; it's incredible. Songs like Hidden in Flesh, Swarm, Church, Apparition, Deus, No Light Spared.... they will always be spinning. Every note, every riff, every single second is a journey. Thank you Rondum for 3 hours of information. You've answered questions I've had my entire life and I will never get enough. Cheers to SOP! Would love to hear a Pt. 2 with Bryssling.
I've watched this interview twice in it's entirety. Seriously this was amazing. Hearing from one of the members of one of the most influential bands of the 00s was awesome. Glad to hear his enthusiasm for music is still alive, please do a part 2 with Jonas and Dennis on at once that would be fascinating.
The section about the vocals is awesome. Dennis has always been one of my favorite vocalists to do it in metal period, so hearing it unfold the way he said is crazy interesting
I enjoyed this podcast SO MUCH!! Thank you guys for putting this together. I’m sure there’re a ton of people like me who don’t usually comment but get a ton out of it. I know the theme is “Cali Death”, but I love that you guys are taking on iconic guests from around the world. You guys should absolutely do one with Jonas!
Great discussion, thanks for posting. It was interesting to hear Dennis say he hasn't touched drums in years! Imagine having such a skill/passion and then totally stopping
I was at the Bloodletting show in St Louis when you all played with Origin. One of the most memorable shows I’ve been to ever. It was Epic but only like 20-30 people. I think it was a Sunday or something. I have photos from that night, James King from Unmerciful showed up too.
1:15:00 "What do you know, play it yourself, blah blah blah..." I love this philosophy. Get past that ego block and accept criticism - the producer is there to help you.
Virulent Depravity is the only band I've ever heard that correctly captures the essence that originated from Spawn of Possession. People should check them out!
Hey Dennis, what's going on with Retromorphosis? I saw the facebook page was recently deleted. I've been so hyped for this since last year. Was hoping it would be out last year since the debut was announced as Demo MMXX. Btw if anyone doesn't know about it, it's Dennis and Jonas's project they announced July 2020. Just search Retromorphosis Fulingen. It's seriously amazing.
Fuck yeah! Dude Mr.Rondum is the fucking MAN!!!!! When I first heard them it was unlike anything I've ever heard. I mean they're like on a Meshuggah level getting intuned with the music. Very few bands can make you feel apart of their album. Def THE best tech death band that ever was or will be IMO. Spawn of possession Self titled song Spawn of possession is fucking gnarly.
HAS THE SPANOF POSSESION PAGE BEEN HACKED?! It streamed 2 really weird videos today of some asian lady advertising milk or something, with a bunch of really weird advertisement comments from Spawn and some other accts. If someone from the podcast is reading this please let Dennis know!!!

I used to work with Jonas Karlsson:) (the former guitarist)
Great and funny guy. And damn he could play the guitar
Spawn of Possession is one of the greatest things to happen in the history of mankind.
Great view! Spawn 4 life.
(Fun fact. I still own the original triaxis we used on cabinet).

How much for it?

It had been on many recordings. Even though it is falling apart it still sounds great. Brings mojo.
What?!?! What’s the rundown from guitars to mic pre’s if you don’t mind
@@adamstaysick if I did a video for this…. Would you watch it?
Hello Rob, do you still have the recordings of the unreleased Begotten album?

Cabinet changed my direction instantly. The guitars are nuts.

I had a drum head that I got signed by Hamilton, KC, Longstreth, and Lance?, from Vile. I couldn’t remember his name and can’t really read it.
Bloodletting Tour was epppic it was cool seeing Gorgasm again with a new lineup....Sick as fuck!!
1:50:50 Very insightful words from Dennis.

Amazing Podcast guys! Would be amazing to have the mastermind Bryssling on here too.
Potential part 2 with Dennis AND Bryssling? If it actually happens you guys have to ask Bryssling about that Retromorphosis stuff he's doing!
Thank you for another great episode!

I'm glad I saw these dudes live in Amarillo, Texas ...they riverdanced to Selena😂😂
Hell yeah Dennis showing Iggor Cavalera some love 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Can't believe I'll never see SoP live.
Please get Jonas Bryssling in this setting.

New page up. Think Jonas Brysslings's account got hacked so he had to make a new account and probably couldn't get access back to the original one.
@@richiefarrell4726 yeah that sucks they got hacked, but glad to hear they're still in business
SOP is one of my top death metal bands. Spawn if you read this PLEASE REUNITE

I think Jonas Bryssling was hacked, be made a new Facebook - twice in fact. Probably meant they got access to the SoP page.
Erlend commented in his instagram that they are aware but cant do shit because facebook wont react to their requests
How old is Dennis now?
