    Good job on this video..I am considering the 32" Scag or 32" Exmark. I need to get into small gate yards. Both about same price the Scag is a little cheaper. Leaning towards the Scag but it has a 2 yr warranty the other they say is 4 yrs.

      I have the Scag 36” and it’s been amazing!
      Scag believes in their product which is why they give a two year. They believe it will last for years of dependable service. Also a lot of companies use a machine for two years and trade it in.

    Fantastic review, you've kept you machine looking like new, thanks for your time and effort. I'm in the market for a stander and have looked at the Scag, Ferris and Bad Boy. I have an acre and a half at my home and want to buy a quality machine that will outlast me. The reputation on the Scag, cut quality and the seperate pumps and wheel motors has me leaning that way. The only thing I didn't like was the stand on platform. It felt like the platform had my toes pointing at the ground, in other words it wasn't flat like the Ferris or Bad Boy. I'm 6'2" and 280 lbs. and was wondering how a lighter person could handle the platform position canting so far forward. Did changing the elastomer suspension pucks out make the platform flatter? If so what brand did you replace the OEM ones with? I noticed at the dealer that the suspension pucks under the platform were further forward than the location of yours in the video, perhaps that alone would make a difference? Thanks for your response in advance.

      @matthewsmowing  Год назад +1

      You can adjust the springs under the platform back a little to allow it to accommodate different size operators. I did order different springs for mine from a company called McMaster Carr. They have multiple different options. They are not steel cored like the OEM ones are, but they have multiple options for compression rate. It does allow the platform to accommodate taller operators. Thanks for watching!

      Thank you sir, each machine definitely has it's own feel and cut quality. I'll check out the company you referenced. When spending that amount of money on a lawn mower one better make the right choice. Have a lucrative and healthy season, thanks for the prompt response. 👍🏼

      Congrats on the new machine!
      That’s why I make these videos, because I did the same when I was buying.
      Tweels are a smoother ride in my opinion, especially on stand on machines.

    Glad you mentioned the fuel tank. I’ve been asking scag for a few years now to put a larger tank on these. They say the same thing “we will pass this along”. Like just do it. 10 gallons minimum. I don’t own a vride. I would of bought multiple units by now had they put a larger tank on them.

    • @matthewsmowing
      @matthewsmowing  Год назад +1

      Yeah, I would like to see a little bigger tank, but I feel like adding more weight would cause it to be off balance. If they can figure out a dual tank setup, that might help.

    All I run is scag . I’m from south Louisiana . Down here scag is the king of mowers . You won’t be sorry you bought one . I’m running a 2013 turf tiger with a kohler and it has never let me down . I also have a 2020 scag patriot with a kohler . I’m just not a fan of a VRide , standing up all day with my back wouldn’t help me . But great vid .

    Did you close off part of the discharge opening? Does it effect grass disbursement when you have the chute blocker flap open?
