Awesome review, I have been looking hard at these for a while, but could never get a good idea of what they are about. I would use them for every day wear and hiking, snowshoeing, etc. So thank you for the detailed break down
Tbh those pants a great. I like the side adjustments. Reminiscent of the Viet era into 70s Aust pants. Which if you hit the J do a days excercises waist size does drop. The fly really is a let down though. Tbh i prefer a button fly for bush pants. Easy field repair. As swell as "venting " you can leave a button or 2 open get some air flow in summer without it being obvious 😂
@@davidleonard1813 Airflow is huge in the heat, and I catch your drift 😁! I’ve found that out on more than one occasion when the body is shedding water, how the pant size drops. Have a great day brother!!
@@preppingforlife264 Thanks for checking out my review. When it comes to Arktis products, their Smocks and Waterproof combat pants I really like. The waterproof pants are nice when the Fall rains set in and snow conditions.
Can you use a inner and outer belt with this integrated belt system? Like looping the inner belt on top of it. I wanna get some of these in Comb Arid. Also, how tall are you?
There are four belt loops. One on each of your sides and one above each pocket. The loops are about 2 1/2 inches. The plastic cinch is not thick. I’ve worn battle belts and padded hip belts without noticing any issues. So the integrated belt system doesn’t affect wearing a belt kit. I’m 6 feet. I noticed on their web site that they have extra long pants now (35”). I normally wear a 36” waist and 34” leg. I think when I bought my C111’s I got the 33” leg and the length fits me perfectly. Hope that info helped 😁. Have a great day!
I may get a 35” leg on my next pair just because I wear knee pads and the pants tend to pull up a bit wearing the pads when I’m scouting backcountry. On my Crye pants I get the long leg, 36” and that works great for me as I like just a little extra
@@danielojaaru2344 I just ordered the Olive Rainshield gear top and bottoms while on sale. I’ve got Gortex rain gear in some of my camo’s but nothing lightweight for a Get Home bag or if a downpour happens in the backcountry. Hope you enjoy your new kit!!
Jumper? I’m not familiar with that term. The sweater is a British surplus wool sweater and the undershirt is a Gen III level II thermal underwear from Rothco. Hope that answers your question 😁

I own a lot of Arktis kit, everything they make is high grade. But my question is what jumper are you wearing? edit: Sweater :)

@@SpicyCactus Yes, Crye is better. I’ve got a video on some Crye gear, I think I’ll upload it
