  • Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that remaining in the UK and having supportive parents helped him stay grounded after he became famous. The actor was 11 when he won the title role in the Potter film series.
    Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, Radcliffe said his family helped him keep a sense of "perspective".

    this is so wholesome, and it’s very valid that it seems like what’s driving daniel to keep on acting isn’t money, fame or attention (bc i feel like he’s had like,, way too much of that already), it’s his genuine love for what he does. the way he described his love for being on set was very cute.
