Looked this up just to get a visual as I procrastinated and put off using the kit myself..I was matching white to white so no paint needed and two patches took about a minute and look great. I’d def recommend the kit.
Deborah Kennard I watched the video about repairing siding as you did have you go any answer back. Where you can get the kit. If so can you tell me where . My email is betsyshops@aol.com
@@rodepperson5885 ok, then spend $300 to have the panel replaced, and it still might not be a perfect match if it is an older discontinued color. What he gave was a passable $30 solution.....

is there anything for metal or aluminum
what is the paper called?
Excellent
So a piece of tape.
Seems like it would be quicker with this size hole to fill it with paintable chalk and be done
Where do I get this? 🤔
Doesn’t name the product
Color doesn't match, you can notice it.
The vinyl tape will fade in the sun just like the original siding, likely faster, hopefully matching perfectly eventually.
Cut it to size. Not sure why he put such a big piece over a small hole like that. But if you cut it to size it won't be as noticeable.
I agree it doesn't match...It would drive me nuts
