I think maybe white fencing might pair better with everything versus the orange? Just what I was thinking 😊 and for villagers… you could do Judy since she has such pretty eyes, and maybe poppy or Cheri for red? And maybe bill?

I think it would be so cute to have Marina here. She could run a little beachside bakery/ice cream parlor so couples have something sweet to eat on their sunset beach strolls. Plus her house is already pink. Also Cherry and Raymond just started dating on my island, so she might have some good advice to share lol

Yes! I was so hoping you would do a Valentine's theme. Some possible pink/red villagers that would be super cute are Merengue (though I know you just had her on your winter island), Flora and Apple. I know Apple is usually seen as an autumn villager because of her name, but I think she would be adorable on this island!

I'm so sad I want to see Merengue here so badly! Especially because sweet treats go so well with Valentines. But I love this build and the vibes of this island already!! Can't wait for the next one 💞

U could build a kissing booth ..and a romantic garden with the white statues and the pink pergolas etc ... Dropped star frags ... Even the cube lights in white and pink 🩷 I'm so excited for this island

I agree this is the singular thing that bothered me, the orange seems off but the reds and pinks and greens were immaculate imo

I know some people don’t like the mice but I think Penelope would be cute on this island because they changed her ears to be a big pink bow. I think it would be cool if you added an purple and pinky area like hidden in the back that would be a heart break section. Where you go to cry if you love is unrequited, as a way to have contrast. You should also add a lovers point as a place to confess your love. Looking very cute so far!
The strawberry path with the pink planks built in remind me so much of Melanie Martinez’s Portals era omg imagine an island themed by her different eras
Idk what I’m doing wrong to where I can’t terraform but I’m planting my butt off and doing fences. I’m doing a red zen theme. I’m loving it. I have never decorated my island like this before and I’m having more fun than my last island.
You could use a white fence
adding in some white flowers would also just add some great contrast to the pinks and reds

I've been doing this on my islands, but if you get one of the steel trash cans in maybe white, not sure if they come in red, and put it near or slightly over the valentine's letters you put on the path, it would look like a post office mail drop box with spilled letters. i did it for a Christmas build. :)

i do think u definitely need merengue on ur island! she's really lovely and i do think she personifies this whole idea of "cute", "pink" and "valentine"!! i am also a big fan of diana, but i think she might be too off? she does have pink elements but she is more white than pink

Might be a bit out there but I think Patty and Norma would be a good combo bc of their chocolate brown and pink themes! They could have a chocolates store or a dairy farm or an ice cream parlor. They match the chocolate theme for Valentine's Day, and the colour combo reminds me of chocolate-covered strawberries! Also, Patty likes the colour red so you could just give her red clothes to match your island!

Hey Melissa! I know you might not agree with me but for a jock villager on the island it could be Teddy because a people get other people teddy bears and Teddy is literally a teddy bear so yeah- Good job on the island by the way! It looks amazing 🤩

Random, but, a fun challenge I did for myself with my most recent island was to not use terraforming and waterforming. So I kept the island as is and like fit everything on it and it's worked so well for me for burnout! I find having to think of how to do the forming was so much, plus decorating.

This is so cute! I love watching someone actually start a themed island, Im on my first ever playthrough and always wonder how people even have such a clean island but unlocked features and objects. I guess you bulldosed everything? or there are features I haven't unlocked yet... I love the ideas and the theme

If you struggle with decorating beaches, what if you tried making them a little romantic beachside resort type of thing? You could have a little bar and some lounge chairs in pairs, and some party lights to really set the mood.
