I absolutely love this!! I started my sleeve today, only difference is that I did a color change and also crocheted in my initials!! Please keep up your great tutorials!! :)
almost done with mine now using your tutorial! thanks so much!!! I did notice however, the foundation chain needed to be a bit longer than my laptop. I think I made mine about an inch longer. It's turning out really good!!! Cant wait for school to start next week!
Great and awesome video!!! It is very detailed and explain everything clearly! Excellent for beginners as me!! Thank you and hope you can post more crocheted products.
i love your videos! i would be really awesome if you could do a how to make a crochet jumper/sweater! because there's not allot of simple easy ones out there like this one. and your voice sounds amazing.
Hello.. I love your videos and I love this Laptop sleeve design.. It's simple but elegant.. And you did really explained it very well.. I am so excited to crochet mine using this design.. All the best to you.. 😊
Love this tutorial, thank you for making it so easy to understand, showing your work up close and going slow! I made an Ipad sleeve and it firs perfectly, but my stitches don't line up straight. There's a slight slant. Could I perhaps have added a stitch on one side? I'm terrible at counting stitches so I can't tell, but I can't think of anything else that could caused this. The two sides still line up fine and it's not "that" noticeable, but I'd like to make future sleeves without this happening since they will be gifts. Any help would be appreciated!
You can use any thickness; it will just change the number of chains you make to start and the number of rows you do to complete it. She’s using a worsted yarn I think, she’s posted that info above.
My sleeve ends up lopsided no matter what I do. It looks like I'm crocheting one extra, and it's spreads into a cone-shape. But when I skip a stitch to avoid it the sleeve gets too small. And I swear I'm following the stitch exactly (pausing the screen to make sure.) What am I doing wrong?
Maybe it would be easier to crochet two pieces and stitch them together. I haven't tried this yet, but was afraid of the same problem. I'll see what happens, and let you know.
jd quinitchette There is one stitch on the side that you can't skip its almost sideways to look at... My first row I missed it and it started to cone up - but after I realized it I'm not having any problems... hope this helps :)
I love your tutorials. Please make a lot of beanie tutorials, because i wanna have a beanie and at the same time, i wanna learn too. I tried this, and it was hard ag first but once you get the hang of it. Its easy. I tried and tried and watched this video for a lot of times. But, i dont know how to add another yarn if i lack. :( help me please
Hey SimplyHookedCrochet, you made a good video right there But i just don't understand about the length or the measure for the case, what you had in the end of video is bigger than waht you told in the beginning and also it made circle form at the end of the video which i'm sure you can't do that with just the measure when you told us in the beginning Would you please tell us how to make case bigger and circle? Thanks
Umm... I have a VERY important question. If you've been on your laptop while and it's hot, and put it in the sleeve then will the sleeve like catch on fire or burn or is that what the cotton yarn prevents?
This is SO gorgeous. I want to learn how to crotchet but I'm afraid that I'll be terrible at it :( how did you learn? Is it possible to teach yourself how o do it?
Making things are all about experimenting. Don't be afraid to try it out. If you make a mistake, that's perfectly fine. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them. :)
i love your videos , but i am having a hard time doing it , as mine is coming out sloggy . which hook are you using the 3.5mm or the 5mm? love your tutorials . wont give up
heyy!! so I watched through half of the video already, and I wanted to ask, is this legit? and were you able to actually do it?? I have the MacBook Air 2020 13", and I was just wondering to know! also you're very good at explaining, your voice is so nice to listen to, and the way that you demonstrate each and every single step is amazing!!
Hi super important questions. Where do you edit your videos from and are you using a video camera or a laptop for your videos? You see I have a channel on youtube that I do my show on but I do them on my laptop but they don't exactly have what you would call the best quality screen look, like yours. I would be very grateful if you answered my questions and I love your tutorials, they inspire me to crochet even more. Thankyou.
I am SO sorry for the late response. I edit my videos on my laptop. I use a Canon T3i to film and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit. I'd say top things you need are: Camera, editing platform, tripod (super important) and daylight (which will improve the overall quality of your videos). Hope this helps and good luck!
Thank you so much. Glad to help:) Yes, I have a monthly plan however, they do offer various other plans. Whats pretty awesome is that you get a 30-day free trial so I definitely think you should try it out!

Благодарю Вас за полезную информацию! Бишкек Кыргызстан.
Hi thank you very easy need to make a few for Christmas great gifts for anyone
I made this but it ended up being a little smaller than my laptop, so now it's like a see-through case
nice tutorial really helpful soon i 'l do one for my laptop
How do you change color? Do you have a video on how to do it?
You added a chain and then placed a sc in the second chain from the top, so shouldn’t you have 27 instead of 28th as you said??
Can you tell me threads size
Mam plz can you tell me the yarn name
I have a question, what is the thickness of the yarn? I want to make this, but I don't have the same yarn as you.
You can use any thickness; it will just change the number of chains you make to
start and the number of rows you do to complete it. She’s using a worsted yarn I think, she’s posted that info above.
@@lisadaniels7683 Ok, thank you soooo much!!!!!! This helps alot!!!!
Simple...i like it. I will try
What am I doing wrong? I keep gaining stitches ands it's getting longer rather than making a sleeve ???!!!
What is the size of your yarn and hook?

Put a zipper m8
Just put a zipper m8
For some reason mines not a sleeve? It's more like a patch...
Hello dear, i find that 28 chains was so small for my ipad
That's really nice and simple
How would I go about adding a crocheted heart or skull to the final project?
You would crotchet it separately then sew it on
you keep saying "length" but it really looks like you are measuring the width. which do I measure?
Width
wow this was so easy! Thank you :)
Where you buy the yarn and the i don't know the name
