Let Feagins do her job. Many of the board members can’t even effectively tie their shoes and chew gum at the same time.

Memphis looks just like Pennsylvania Ave right now. Guess it’s something in the air.

Let her do her job she was brought in to do. Results and actions speak louder than the accusations and butthurt thrown at her. Those against her fear her changing the old guard way. Memphis needs to get rid of the old guard that has for decades held back the educational progress. Crime and poverty ain't a black thing. It's a poor educational thing. If kids are not taught right they will go wrong.

As much as I hate to admit it, you are dead on target with this.

Take it back even further please... How did we get to a point where over 90% of American families are ok with outsourcing the education of their children to strangers, and furthermore demanding that all Americans regardless of parenting status chip in on the expenses?
Who convinced Americans to politically support these programs at the local level, nationwide??

Public education is one of the best ideas society ever conceived. An educated populace is good for everyone.

If Americans are being taxed, they have the right to determine where their tax dollars go. I personally would prefer to opt out of being taxed and continue to educate my children.
