Sean's breakdown of Nuss' throw on 4th and 5 was classic. Coming from a former pro and a QB specialist means even more. He also perfectly described us fans going oh no.... oh yes when he hit Anderson. What a game, and YES we'll talk about this forever especially around our Ole Miss fan friends! :)
As an ole miss fan respect. We should've won fr but that atmosphere lives up to the billing def better than Texas A&M and I'm genuinely scared ab how gd that defense could be when Blake baker actually gets gd players bc those players ain't gd idc what u say
I respect that! The team played mentally tough and never gave up! Yes out defensive players that are seniors and that played most the game played amazing if you know lsu football but your right some of our secondary are not that good and made some bad plays as well. But zy Alexander played amazing but sage played bad while burns shined but had a few missed opportunities as well . The d line as for the edge is amazing the middle is suspect but acceptable. But our linebacker shine! Whit weeks is young and an absolute maniac in the middle! We won this game simple yes if yall made those early plays yall should’ve probably won but it would’ve been a different game and you don’t know the outcome still. But you let us stay in and could’ve put us away if capable during the whole 2nd half but you couldn’t. We kept our self in this game by making defensive plays when it counted the most and guess who made them those player yours saying aren’t very good! Our offense also didn’t have its best game and we could’ve easily scored more on yall then we did if we played to the point we are capable of if you want to play “if, that’s” and we dropped some big balls too just like yall did. Nuss basically only threw all long balls of 10-15+ yards when he needed a lot more quick routes but we were missing a #2 wr. Either way, we are getting better while y’all seem to be regressing and could have y’all’s program in shambles soon if yall lose again. Also if Florida offers kiffin the job, yall could be done as yall went all in this year and wont be able to fund another championship type team again next year or 2 the way Florida may be willing to do for kiffin so he would be very likely to take that job now more than ever if yall lose again this week or to another team this season even as that would kill y’all’s hopes of playoffs for good.
I said on another video how he was not consistent but he is a smart QB. That throw is on the same level as the earthquake throw against Auburnin 1988. Loved to watch Tommy Hodson play and Nuss plays much like he did. That was a long time ago, but I still remember as if it was yesterday. Take us back to the natty Nuss, this team deserves it. Defense kept us in the game and Nuss won it for them.
Nuss reminds me of Brett Favre in how one minute he’ll throw balls that make you want to pull your hair out and then follow it up with a masterpiece game tying drive capped off with a TD pass that only the best NFL QBs can make .
I think Major Burns should Play A Linebacker Role kinda how the Ravens have a SS playing inside with the Linebackers. Harold perkins should put on weight and play Defensive End. Sage Ryan should play Free Safety. Stamps and Alexander are your outside Corners. Pimpton and Taylor are your TEs. Keep it like that LSU wins out and Make it to the SEC Championship and will play for a National Title.
Agree with burns but I don’t think perk can put on enough weight to play end in the nfl or college really as he struggled their this year when he did line us there and couldn’t get off his blocks. But if he was able to then he could end up playing a parson type role in the nfl but I still don’t know if he has the body type for that. Definitely got our corners solidified and they should be good for the rest of the year! Need to use Tre Dez in a lot of passing situations imo in the wr role they are talking about moving him into. He can catch a quick 5-10 yard pass easily imo when we need that and that was what we were missing with nuss against ole miss. A quick slant should be an easy catch for green and pretty much unguardable if you throw it high enough and quick enough. And in the redzone….forget about it!

They are very young, mostly freshman, rsfreshman and sophomores. LSU is building a monster.
