On a Wagon R the smoke thing is a Common problem. It comes and goes like the tide of the sea 😂 Our Wagon R/Opel Agila does this too When you drive it every day,it is no Problem, but if it sits for more than 2days it is smoking very heavy😂😂
I can guarantee you could mount an rc motor to the turbo and use an rc esc to control and get that turbo really spinning. It isnt spinning nearly fast enough to create actually boost
@@GOGNLCpersonally id be using some sort of brush less outrunner style motor and id be looking at around the 2200kv range and on 3s lipo either that or id be looking at anything brushless around that mark and at minimum running 3s lipo
There was an Aussie company called Force Flow that used a brushless rc motor that did 28,000rpm it generated 2.5 psi it worked pretty good on my at the time na r34 gt
To be honest, not really excited for this build. I as well as many others would much rather see the abandoned S15 get worked on. Only way I would be excited for this is if it gets built exactly like the green toaster car in Tokyo Drift. 😂😂😂
💨White smoke after a cold start is completely normal. This is the condensed water in the exhaust system which evaporates again due to the heat from the engine when starting. This can vary greatly depending on the exhaust system and the outside temperature. btw you don't need to experiment with another turbine wheel, just give the electric motor more amps until it destroys itself.💥
Look up Electrified Boost. Some of these guys are getting 7 PSI with higher voltage RC motors you were talking about. They are using name brand compressors, but it might still be interesting to see.
Sammit great vid it's like your own little Diecast car I'd Yamaha R6 swap Turbo/exhaust , aero/wheels slam it have fun beat the heck out of it keep up the great work 👍
If you open a little throttle and the system doesn't build boost, then it won't make it "under load" man, the electric turbo doesn't "go faster" coz it's under load.
if your lucky it is the rings that is stuck. bad oil maintenance will do that. when hot the cat will start to burn it off. if it have ben run dry the piston is shot. if it is stuck you can use oil with cleaner and some oil that dissolves carbon in the top over night.
I think the advantage of an electronic turbo is that it can supercharge the engine even when the engine speed is low, such as when starting or cruising.
Looks like one of those survival Turbos…so you can take it off the motor and use it as a blower to get a good fire 🔥 going while camping blowing up your air beds , and your partner can blow dry her hair so you don’t have to hear her moan for forgetting to bring her hair dryer…while you’re out camping of course 🤔 yep that’ll work 😂 Cool video Bro… ✌️😎👍🇳🇿
It probably does create a good amount of airflow, but i doubt its well optimised to make actual pressure. Would be suprised if the motor is powerfull enough to overcome the pressure.
Lol put a scoop on the bonnet that connects tight to the electro turbo for some added forced induction. No no just build a trubo engine. Or actually swap it with an SR
Go to up garage and buy the cheapest functioning turbo they have. Even a stock small turbo from another car would make some decent boost on that engine. At least that's my guess. Also are hood exit exhausts legal in japan? Because if they are...
I feel like it would be more effective if you put a filter on the electric turbo maybe it builds more vacuum and it able to push in the air into the intake manifold better because right now I feel like it’s just working like a air fan more than pushing proper air into the manifold
I think you should definitely swap out the electric motor 41 from an RC considering they make some RC motors out there that are extremely fast like 140000 RPM so that should do something
@SAMMIT Rather than connecting to 12V power source to run that electric blower motor, how about run the power source from 13V or 14V? Maybe that way you might be able to gain a bit more boost.
An electric turbo doesn’t exist. Turbo uses exhaust gases. That is called an electric centrifugal Supercharger as it isn’t connected to the exhaust manifold.
Turbo comes from the word turbine. And it does have a turbine. Therefore it is a turbo....literaly cleetus also called it turbo and cleetus is familiar with superchargers and turbos. I think cleet would have corrected the name if you were right.
@@angelwalker. Just because it has a turbine wheel doesn’t make it a turbo. A centrifugal supercharger, like vortex makes has a turbine wheel but it’s not a turbo. Just like how people think a MOTOR and an ENGINE are the same thing. It’s just ignorance really.
Some of yall will complain about anything. This is obviously a filler episode and filler episodes are important too. He already told us his plans this year and what he is working on̈ right now. S15 video will be here in no time.
Put a xmax motor an mount to it to that real turbo you had, add more power. I wish you would read more of people comment's because I said this same thing last time you did this experiment
SAM why don't you try a Y pipe adapter one side with electric turbo and another with air cleaner to avoid and air restrictions and also will be more obvious if it actually helps
There a guy somewhere on the RUclips’s that made his own electric turbo using a Garrett and a huge electric motor and put it in his V8 ford and it makes 8ish pounds of boost… can’t remember the channel though

put the turbo on the scooter!? How we feelin guys?
Cordless leaf blower actually works pretty well 😂 well better than those electric turbochargers 😂
Guarantee that it didn't smoke on start up at the auction because it didn't have any oil to burn 😂
Probably valve stem seals leaking. They leeak a small amount while it sits.
Daiki's initial thought might be the right one, bring back those huge NOS bottles and see how much this blown engine will take before it really blows.
On a Wagon R the smoke thing is a Common problem. It comes and goes like the tide of the sea 😂
Our Wagon R/Opel Agila does this too

Did you get to know the reason why?
@@mujareeves9908 Sounds like Valve steam seals
The smoke is obviously the bluetooth oil seals on the wish turbo.

How many kvs are u thinking
I realy hope sam tries this and gives the electric turbo third chance

Where's the abandoned S15

Abandoned 🤷🏽♂️
funny thing is you can buy a solid turbo that can easily run up to 1 bar for 250$
N3xt thing you should do is the abandoned S15

Meh neither. I skipped the Kei car content from Malaysia and I never skip stuff.

Put some kind of bike engine in the kei car

WHEN DID THE WAGON R LEARN TO SMOKE??
So it's more of an electric supercharger?
Love the Kei car content ❤
The turbo from wish is wishful thinking, a giggle at best and put a smile on my face and a bigger smile on yours.
Put that turbo on the scooter!
lmaooo i said the same thing wtf
Haha. Cool. Blackparade. Still waiting to rip the abandoned s15
Sammit - the wiring specialist 😂
Spot on aith the turbo being an air restriction. You have to make sure the turbo puts out MORE air than the emgine sucks without the turbo attached.
Ive been looking for video like this for a long time good work guys haha
If you open a little throttle and the system doesn't build boost, then it won't make it "under load" man, the electric turbo doesn't "go faster" coz it's under load.
Loving the Kei Car content, always loved he videos on your every wagon.❤
I think you need a cylinder style air filter between the electric turbo and the intake.
To remove the restriction theory

Sam, you singing is to funny!! Haha
Its only valve stem seals
we don't care about that kei car blue s15 please
Back when I was a kid my dad used to work at Holset Engineering in the UK, where he was a draughtsman and used to actually design the turbos
I think the advantage of an electronic turbo is that it can supercharge the engine even when the engine speed is low, such as when starting or cruising.
Just really turbo the van

nice of you to wrap this series up here & start work on the two s15's 😅
Oil smoke on startup is from a leaky valve seal dripping oil into a cylinder after cooling down, no biggie just keep oil in it.
Needs a top end rebuild pull the coils if the plugs are drowning its the rocker cover if not valve seals
It probably does create a good amount of airflow, but i doubt its well optimised to make actual pressure. Would be suprised if the motor is powerfull enough to overcome the pressure.
Any chance you could put the amr after the throttle body and send the fuel through the blower?
You got that rain stick intake! Sweeeet
Lol put a scoop on the bonnet that connects tight to the electro turbo for some added forced induction. No no just build a trubo engine. Or actually swap it with an SR
Merci!
love the turbom explanation. never really knew exactly how it works. well now i do i guess

Imma say since it does the smokies on startup it might have bad valve stem seals, could be an easy fix if you wanna rock that original engine
You need higher voltage for it to work, 2 12 v batteries in series should do the job
I think that you're smoking issue probably has to do with worn valve seals.
If you put three in compound will it make 3psi? That would make a cool video.
Put it on the exhaust to ease turbo lag or reduce back pressure.
How about a belt driven turbo. If put a pulley in place of the hot side turbine
Cleetus did a video several years ago with a turbo 10 times this size. You should look into that one on the kei car.
Sam after smoking up the entire shop and burning Daiki's nostrils: "The engine might have a problem" 😂
@SAMMIT Rather than connecting to 12V power source to run that electric blower motor, how about run the power source from 13V or 14V? Maybe that way you might be able to gain a bit more boost.
Hook it up to 2x 12v batteries.
Or even better, use a power supply and Max it till the motor blows
That smoke is just the excess rice and rocks in the intake burning off nothing to worry about 👌
This car needs a d13/d15/d16 and it'll feel like a rocket. That low compression should feel scary with a tiny turbo
Is it possible that the intake is too close to the hood and limiting the flow of air through the turbo.
An electric turbo doesn’t exist. Turbo uses exhaust gases. That is called an electric centrifugal Supercharger as it isn’t connected to the exhaust manifold.
Oh look mr.smarty pants over here , stfu we know what it is let us have fun
It’s better for the algorithm! Thats why

Surely you can just turn the turbo on with the engine off and see if there is any pressure being built up right?
Change the inducer out for a tighter fitting inducer from garret 😂 go get that turbo kit cleete mcskeet used. Used on that malibu
just save the headache and swap the 660cc, id assume theyre cheap. take it to the 90's on the build. body kit, underglow, big stereo

hear me out e bike motor and controller set up tied into tps signal connected to garrett turbo same as the one ur trying but better ?
You should just keep adding those electric turbo's untill you have enough boost :)
I believe that 12volts is not enough for an electric turno
Hook the turbo up to 16 volts or 24 volts to see if it will turn more rpms with more volts
Thank for the turbo explanation! Now i know 😊
Id love to see Sam building a sick street car and driving it all around with may and showing us japan. Love youuuu Sam from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
That turbo might be good on a lawnmower.
Have you thought about having them in tandem?
This would make 'turboing' my carburettor powered ninja 250 a possibility
Hell yeah! Daiki's english is getting better!
Valve seals are gone. As it smokes after it sits for a bit.
You should grab a td04H out of a 2.0 WRX in a scrapyard. Perfect size
Those turbos are crap always blow
Sam you need to use the electric turbo like Cleetus used it was a high torque motor and it will probably work!
Okay, I'll bite.
Better tell Formula 1 and Porsche they're wasting their time with electric turbos...
That sucks that the "new" Kei car is throwing out a lot of smoke.
hows the abandoned s15 doing
A Garrett GBC14-200 34mm turbo would be perfect for this. But, is it worth spending $800+ though....
cheap link ecu, high end brushless electric motor and that Garret compressor wheel
Now we have to find one that actually works
auction could probably take it back or fiix it if its not on report for the oil
looks like the rings are done on the engine they might have left it low oil on purpose so not as much oil would leak into the cylinder
Upgraded with a better motor or geared it might make some boost you can definately see.
Put a xmax motor an mount to it to that real turbo you had, add more power and a blow off valve if it works lol
There a guy somewhere on the RUclips’s that made his own electric turbo using a Garrett and a huge electric motor and put it in his V8 ford and it makes 8ish pounds of boost… can’t remember the channel though
