there's something to be said about korn when you realize how much their music is influenced from hip hop and jazz. It's actually quiet beautiful how they even make their guitar solos sound like oldschool dj scratches and the break to this song specifically reminds me of the early blues era when improv and making noises with your mouth almost like a bass guitar was fairly common. I'm not the biggest Korn fan, but i realize the breakthrough in music grunge, rap/rock, and nu metal bands have brought fourth.

I relate to this song so much, especially when he says, "Life's always gotta be messing with me, can't they just chill and let me be free?" From day one I've done nothing but fight for my life. I was born three months premature at one pound thirteen ounces, fighting health problems, fighting all the homophobic pricks that made me feel like shit for being gay, and fighting depression. Everyday is a fight. And it really does make you feel like a freak on a leash.
