Hello Chrissy! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving Day in the US. I purchased a 22 lb (9.9 kg) turkey which will take 4 to 5 hours to cook. Looking forward to all the side dishes like sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing, cranberries, apple and pumpkin pie 🥧. I can’t believe how much the food prices have gone up, absolutely ridiculous. Definitely looking forward to Trump’s return. Purchased some Christmas treats as well, must have my Milka chocolate and Wicklein gingerbread cookies. OMG…they are so scrumptious! We are off to Rarotonga for a week, I'm still limping along so am a bit worried about getting on and off bus and vans etc as will be bussing it mostly unless we have a small windfall and hoping the sunshine and warmer weather will help and also getting in a pool. Countdown is on and will be over there for my birthday off next week on Saturday so roughly about 10 days time😊

Hey was thinking of going to watch wicked looks really good ..... who doesn't enjoy a good musical with a bucket of popcorn right . Like you are nearest cinema has closed along with half the shops so will have to travel about half an hour to nearest cinema but might be worth it . I also question the protests as they don't seem to have any effect now day's . Our Leader just doesn't care . Huge petition on line to get him out but again I ask myself will they take notice ???? Funny as when you mentioned the snake 🐍 ( a little story for you ) When we lived in Oz I remember my mum one evening tyding after a long day walking through the hallway it was getting dark and as she picked my toy's up I'd left out she kicked what she thought was my skipping rope ...... as it tightened around her legs she flicked on the light only to see a huge snake wrapped around her leg ..... she screamed for Dad .... he screamed too . Luckily a neighbour heard them and arrived on the scene and he managed to free mum and get rid of the snake 🐍 🤣🤣😳🤦🏼♀️ after that we always called him The Big Hunter hilarious but not funny at the time right ?? Having more tests on his heart lungs tomorrow so keeping everything crossed 🙏 ques in hospital are crazy with lots of elderly people on chairs in corridors and wash rooms with a 36 hour wait for beds.( one 96 year old in a service cupboard ) you would not believe how awful it is to see just how bad the conditions are ...... a real eye opener . And don't get me started on the Doctors .... scruffy , and would help if they could speak the language 😠🤬😤🤦🏼♀️ nothing worse than sitting in reception for 26 hours with fights kicking off all around you , dirty floors , no chairs, no hot drinks .... machine broke . Then spend nearly an hour trying to understand what hell the Dr just said .????? Honestly Chrissy stress doesn't come into it 🙄 I'm so angry 😤. Left hubby on a stool in the corridor by water stand ( broke ) and staff that clearly have no clue what there doing. 🤯😳😭 Just got home 10 pm to get bottled water and sandwiches exhausted but hoping I don't have to take my own bed back with me .🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ And he's not in a broom cupboard when I get back. I gotta tell ya something, last night I got up to go to the kitchen , and as soon as I walked out, there was these lights on the table that I bought to put in the China cabinet that are battery operated, and they were on with no batteries in them😮, then just b4 the cleaner was here, and the light in Garry's bathroom that he bought, went flying off the wall, and landed on the floor in his bedroom! But this hot weather gets them looking for water so that is something good about winter zero snakes 🧐.
