We had very heavy showers in Grand Cayman started around 12.30pm with a torrential downpour, which lasted for about half hour, it eased up for a short time then came back down with same force, and continued on and off for most of the afternoon. So we are soggy here in Grand Cayman.
Hi Rusty we got hammered in St Thomas Jamaica today heavy rains and some humongous thunder the flashes of lightning was so visible lasted for about five hours. Really hoping for a better night.
I retired to Cancun from the US. The hotel zone that most think of as Cancun is very different from where I live in the city of nearly a million on the mainland across from the tourist area. Rapid growth and poor urban planning leads to flooded streets when it rains hard
No percentage to speak of as of yet. It’s an area to watch. We’ll see what happens the next few days and if the NHC wants to start to include it in the tropical outlooks. -Rusty
