Hahaha! I'm just trying to get my head around what Jeff thinks he's seeing. I think it's his LED headlights being picked up out of phase by his camera. Any other ideas?

Love snow, hate ice. Tesla (and other electric vehicles) slow down from regenerative braking, simply lifting the foot off the accelerator keeps the electric motors active but uses them to generate electricity.

So many comments, where to start. :) If you guys are still working in 2038, the Y2K bug has a much meaner younger brother called the Y2K38 bug where all 32 bit registers will click over from a high positive number to a massive negative number due to the Unix Epoch Time of Jan 1, 1970 overflow.
Robbie, your hands sholud no longer be at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel if you have an air bag. The new recommendation is 9 and 3. Personally I use 8 and 4.
What you notice about cars slowing without hitting their brakes is called engine braking and is illegal in the US though not enforced. Everybody does it, not just the electrics. Brake lights are a safety featue and they even added the third middle light decades ago but people defeat the purpose by just lifting their foot off the accelerator. Dangerous move.
More to come as I continu watching the video. :P

Quickly adding "RETIRE" to my 2037 calendar :D It's wild how all these old systems engineers were no doubt "Meh, I'll let them worry about this in 50 years" - yikes!
Thanks for the tip re. airbag - I had no idea about that change - just go by what they taught us. Now... can I relearn? Watch to find out - haha!
Engine Brakes - yes! That makes sense. I've seen signs that say "TRUCKS DO NOT USE ENGINE BRAKES" but what about Teslas? Seriously, they do it all the time. It seems really dangerous in heavy stop/go traffic.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!! -Robbie
