Cool. I did my shoulder in years ago and then ciatica this year. Sadness due to pain and impingement. I started hanging only this year. I have a pull up frame, underarm I could manage best for a few weeks then over, due to the injury and confidence then on. But since doing hanging, it's good. Struggled at first, I felt like a dead weight, after a month or so it feels comfortable both over and under. I now mix in body squat. Just legs apart, slowly down and hold. Not sure if makes much a difference but hey. Thanks.
I used to wake up with back pain every morning. Changed mattresses several times but that didn't help. Started dong passive hanging in an attempt to fix a shoulder issue. Have done mostly passive hanging every day for 5 to seven minutes a day for almost six months. Shoulder issue is still there but I never wake up with a back ache any more.
From my experience it's better to put medical tape on the bar than it is to buy gloves that probably still pinch the skin trough the glove, tape even insulated the bar when it was freezing so I could hang from the bar without pain from the cold.
Hmm, I gotta do 7mins/day of hanging + 30mins/day of squatting + (there's probably something else from Ido that I don't know about) How do you budget all that time? my boss is gonna be like "wtf you doing???"
I like the challenge concept, but suddenly doing 7 minutes everyday will bring injury to most people (even spread apart throughout the day). Everybody needs to modulate and select a time period that is right for the individual.
The dude who holds the pullup record is up there for much longer than 16 minutes. But yeah, somebody who claims 7 minutes needs to post a video. It's like somebody claiming they run a 4.2 forty. It means nothing without the video.

Strength of mind is exercise not rest. Good luck.
Wash after and moisturize and hands become like leather instead of get callouses. My experience from advice from indoor climbing coach.
Great video 👍
I just subscribed to your channel.
Nice

Good tip! I might try that, my garage is about 4 degrees celsius at the moment and I don't like having to wear gloves for all my exercises

So someone got on this channel and claimed that they hung for 7 minutes continuously. I told that fool that the world record is 16 minutes.
