I grew up not far from here and my grandmother is buried there. It was beautiful back in the day. The river is pronounced Sku-kill. Cheers.

Very interesting video. Thanks for raising awareness and for trying to help them raise money. It's a travesty that this place is in such disrepair.

That's crazy. I know there's another cemetery in PA that's abandoned also. The mausoleum has been condemned. It's sad.

Factual error: The area you label as "North Mount Moriah" is an incorrect designation. That is the "Yeadon side" of Mount Moriah. Formerly farmland owned by the Palmer Family, it contains that family's burial area too. The Philadelphia and Yeadon parts used to be one continuous track until the 1910s, when it was bisected by Cobbs Creek Parkway. "North Mount Moriah" was a marketing term for what is now Graceland Cemetery, also in Yeadon. There are advertisements from "Mount Moriah" decrying the name "North Mount Moriah" as a play to confuse people. Nice photography, thank you for suggesting people support the effort!

Don't cemetaries (their owners or trustees) have feduciary responsibilities to ensure that their finances and upkeep are properly maintained?
