  • Taking a good run through R1+R2 R1+RN and r1 rn r2 measurements.
Also run through the maths and formula when using the values in table B1 for GN3 p182
Electrical testing is a great tool to have in the kit and once you get the basics is useful nearly every day!

I don't think you should be teaching this material and aiming it at student electricians. They will be undertaking a formal electrical course with exams and practical sessions to actually learn how to do the test. And it is not difficult anyway.
And if your target market for this video is DIY'ers, then again there is no need, because any work they do in the UK that is notifiable, their work has to be certified by someone who is appropriately qualified.
So who is this video intended for?
The danger is of course, this encourages DIY'ers to do work thinking they know enough to do the job properly, which they don't, and avoid notifying building control and avoid having their work properly certified.

What utter drivel. The worst comment of 2023. I will do whatever I like. If it’s of value people will make use of it. If not they move on.
But just for you… atm 70%+ trainees drop out of training due to among other factors poor training. I have helped build the latest apprenticeship standards and full time study courses. I fund a free to access training academy www.apprentice121.co.uk and have helped over 5000 people into work roles learning to be electricians.
So excuse me if I pay no attention or give no value in the opinion of a wally on the internet. Unless of course you have a qualified opinion to share? Let’s start with your real name and go from there.
      Thank you

Mark you shouldn’t reply to these idiots. What a ridiculous compliment this content is epic for learners. Guy is clearly a plonker detached for the reality of electrical training.

Thank Mark. Keep up the good work. I find watching different videos help join the dots. Really appreciate the effort you and other guys put in - even though I might not reply all the time. Take care. Regards. @@electrician247
