but she spoke nothing of working for free
she does admit her pay is lower than she would like, but is mostly fine with it seeing as she has full directorial control for a film adaptation of a novel she likes
@@xalovaid3693 she only did it for free once during her story quest but that was for being a consultant. This is different because the role is director and a director of Furina's caliber for sure deserves a high pay so accepting less is probably a one time thing.

There are totally 5 acts which will release every day.
So if any of you don't know who Xavier is WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU FOR SKIPPING THE WORLD QUESTS IN INAZUMA?! I can explain but I won't because I want to be a jerk to all you melodramatic wackos. You first meet him in Inazuma through a World Quest involving the Tataratsumi Engine that malfunctioned, he helped the Traveler in its' restoration and created a film of their accomplishment in restoring it. After the Sakkoku Decree was lifted and the storms surrounding Inazuma subsided, he returned to Fontaine.
I like to point out how one of the Festivals Fontainians celebrates started with people dressing up as noble figures called Lochknights and asking for water through knocking on doors. As if that wasn't already Halloween "trick or treat" enough, Furina doubled down on it by switching from getting water to candy which became popular with the kids who every year dresses up as a Lochknight saying "Trial or Treat" so now it really IS "Trick or Treat". Classic Furina you created Halloween. For the Film Festival, the best film nominated by the Film Association is granted the Furina Award which sounds pretty much like an Oscar and the intent is to introduce the world to the world of film and cinema.
For the Film Festival Xavier with the help of Chiori has gotten things set up for a FIlm they are making for the Film Festival but things did not go as intended where their investor got into financial troubles. The actors whom Chiori and Xavier have invited however are willing to do it for free as the Kamisato Siblings came to Fontaine to build connections and Yoimiya came along for the ride. Crew is set and they seek out Furina as the director of the film as Xavier being the producer has his hands full.
Paimon being blunt and snarky as always aside, Furina is allowed to sleep as long as she wants and the same goes for you. Oh ok, Furina was reading novels all night. DON'T YOU LOVE THE FEELING OF BEING IMMERSED WHEN READING A LIGHT NOVEL YOU COULDN'T STOP!? Because reading light novels and picturing everything playing out is far more immersive and fun than watching studios shafting actually good anime like Irregular at Magic Highschool while they put too much effort onto garbage romcoms like 100 Girlfriends who Really Really Love You.
