Camrys and Corollas from that generation are still a dime a dozen. They run forever. My best friend has a '94 V6 and it's a great car. Practically bulletproof.
Great find, Kyle! Seeing an older generation in this shape now-a-days is very rare. As I said before, I have a used 2005 Toyota Highlander, and it is in very good condition. It runs just like new! You just can't beat Toyota quality!
I have a 1993 Toyota Camry just like this one except mine is in pretty rough shape, the sun is burning the paint off, but it still keeps on running with 215,000 miles on it.
I drove a 93 v6 3.0L toyota camry back in the day, and it worked really well when it works.... Luckily I did not have to pay for the repairs and maintenance, it is definitely one of the most comfortable car i have ever driven or ride in, thick american feeling definitely, unlike the following camry, but after all, toyota camry is one of the best family sedan in the world, it is economical, comfortable, nothing fancy.

Soon I will have to give it up and get a newer one but I am a little hesitant to get a newer one because I have heard that the 2003 on Camrys are not as good. I would buy a mint condition 93 Camry in a heart beat. A mint Camry would last another 20 years!
The 07-09 Camrys would be the ones to stay away from. My mom had a 2012 and put 120,000 miles on it and traded it in a couple months ago for another one.
I ended up getting a newer Camry of sorts after all, I got a 2000 Lexus Es300 which is heavily based on the Camry, it's also called the Toyota Windom in Japan. It's a very nice car. But I have heard that you have to be careful with it because the engines have an oil sludge problem. Never had heard anything like that about my older Camry. Sold it and it's still on the road now, it had 172,155 miles on it when I sold it.
05-2010 camrys are famous for extremely brutal and excessive oil consumption, an issue Toyota denies. make no mistake, dealerships and mechanics and car companies will outright lie about things they know are issues, you have to play around and evade their tricks and lies. if you want a good place to start with on getting the right and reliable car, go to carcomplaints website, good place to know the reliable good-to-get cars.
I would avoid 07-09 Camry's they burn oil as read not sure about the 02-06 Camry's or newer ones are better but don't buy a 07-09 Camry have engine problems with oil consumption.

Hmm that's interesting. Pretty darn good for the mileage you have on yours too. It really depends on how often you wash the car, especially in the winter when the salt is on the roads. I always use the warmer winter days to my advantage to prolong the life on my car's underside and paint. I live in Pennsylvania and I see a lot of older Camrys and Corollas with rust on the bodies. I know the trucks of that time were pretty prone to it but it really depends on how well you take care of it.

I bought a 96 becaus I needed a car for work and my truck was to much of a project vehicle, I went into it not carring about the XV10, only with the knowledge that they last a while and are dead simple to work on, I bought the car for $1000 on Craigslist and put about $500 in it and did all the labor myself. if you take care of these cars a don't neglect them theye will run forever, long live the XV10
Perfect enough to plan to completely rebuild brand new for a few thousand and know it will run another 30 years or better... Still runs strong until then!
When I was younger my grandparents had a 94 the engine had a small oil leak but other than that the engine was fine… the transmission on the other hand… it went out twice the second time they got rid of it had like 150,000 mi was just their beater car

Toyota still uses the exact same cruise control thing on the steering wheel to this day, i know this because I drive brand new Corolla's for work and they have the exact same thing

Not a very eye popping car for sure but these are very reliable. Very nice shape for the age too. The bodies on these are well built but it's pretty uncommon to see a Toyota that's 19 years old in this good of shape since they are so prone to rusting out. That seems to be very common with Toyota in general unless you baby the body with constantly washing and waxing it. This Camry will go many more miles for sure and would make a good first car for anyone.
@DontBeSuchAHolyFool Yeah! Nothing can compare to the size of that tank of a car! GM really needs to bring back the B-Body sedans and the wagons! I have a feeling they'd be a hit. The sedans are my favorite but I'd get a wagon over a minivan any day! However, my family has owned a few Chrysler vans for years and they've been great to us so I'll always have a place for one of them. Great vans.
Toyota don't and Hondas nun forever my dad has a 99 corrola has close to 200k miles on it the only thing he changed was shocks cause the car kept on banging the ground on bumpy roads. I live in Canada has really rough winters

304,500 miles on mine. We're the original owners. Always garaged and in near mint condition. Everything works.
