So many memories. I still have this tape somewhere. My love for basketball began in the 90's. I love how each song describes the personality, the style and the type of play each player had. The nba has to provide us with more of these type of videos for superstars of the 00s, 10s and 20s but in the same way as the these videos. Describing how each player was and what they wen't through to be succesfull. I LOVE THIS GAME!

Barkley's alley oop dunk at 15:13 is very underrated. Didn't even step into the jump, just went straight up with one hand. This from a guy who's only about 6'5".

My Aunt offered me that VHS tape for christmas 92. I watched it a gazillion time thru my teenages. That Wilkins reel... made me fall in love with the game and that era. It's almost stupid to think how a simple tape had so much influence in my life. But it did.
The pass Magic pulled off at 30:13... It's a real shame an entire generation has no concept of how transcendent a basketball player he was, and they only view him as a Twitter meme.
Man talk about a blast from the past. I got this video with a SI subscription when I was like 14. I swear it just about wore out the tape, watching & rewatching different moves from the players, so I could try and recreate them at the park.

I beg my mom for a good month that I needed that tape. Ultimately I won her over and she bought it for me. I still have that tape in the garage.

The NBA/Teams need to do something like this again. The typical RUclips highlight reels aren't even close. They can go back to dynasties/duos/trios from the late 90's onwards, as well as 'Rising Stars' today.
