I have a BKing tuned and stock it's fast tuned it's very fast and yes it's a bike that stands out and in the Twisties it handles like a much smaller bike and I rode mine like I stole it as it sees triple digits every time I ride it and I'm 72 years old and have owned mine since 2007 and yes old guys love speed too
You've got a 'Busa AND a B-King? *Subscribed* (The reason why you get more looks on the B-King is because people are trying to figure out what the heck it is lol)
holy shit, I just found my bike! I been riding since 1995, I never heard of this beauty. Seriously. I been in love with the busa ever since I rode a gen 1 in 2007. I was harley rider at the time. I like my bikes like I love my women, with a fat ass that likes to get manhandled. But I never been a sport rider. 600's are too puny for my fat ass, 1000's are too sporty and now days way too expensive. But the Busa, was big, heavy, and that torque. Those same things people say they dont like about the busa is what made me like it. I have no interest in going 100+, dragging, track days, group riding, flexing ego, etc. I just ride, daily, rain or shine, to work and to go out. And no matter what I buy, I always end up with a Harley, because of the big motor. All i care is how the bike handles and performs from 0-100 mph. through traffic and twisties. no chicken strips for me. I been so frustrated that I considered buying a 2009 Busa and stripping naked and modding it into a muscle naked bike, and hopefully moving the powerband towards something more useful to me. I have owned a V-Max, an R1 (for like 1 month), a CBR-600F4, and an assortment of Harleys from 80's, 90's, and 00's. My question to you sir is: The B King sounds like the answer to my prayers. But I understand it is rare in the USA. If I cant find one, you think it is doable to convert a busa into a B King? All of your questions and comments are greatly appreciated.
the exhausts of the 2008 and 2009 b king were bigger than the exhausts of the 2010,,,,,2010 exhausts are a little smaller ,,,i thing more ok than the big ones,,
I really like the standard look of the mufflers, I have a pair of Yoshimura pipes on with the standards mufflers over it, looks standard, sound's brutal.
Ive got a 02 Busa and Bking, Bking accelerates harder to me, but 02 busa faster. The Bking is a crazy bike without the wind protection it feels unbelievable. Who is use to moving that fast without the fairings that on sport bikes. Its more comfortable of course, but 02 busa just keeps on pulling. Incredible bikes.
Love the vid ! I have a bking and love it ! You are spot on talking about the ergonomics, I think its more fun to ride. I also have a suzuki busa, yamaha vmax, aprilia caponord and a little Honda CBF 600 but always end up using the bking on the day ! Absolutely love it !
I have a B-King as well, all the way from South Africa. Very rare bikes and I always get people coming up to me to find out what bike it is! I have flashed the ECU, bar-end mirrors, Yoshi pipes, and a Puig screen. I definitely want to see more of the B-King! I subbed.
I have an 08 king and if something happened to my king I would search the Earth to get another. It's my 3rd bike and favorite by far. Just a word of advice start out in b-mode if your not use to the power. Once in a-mode you'll never look back. The attention your gonna get on this bike you'd think you were riding a spaceship. I get wtf is that all the time and don't let me have my girl on the back and she got on spandex lmao. I thought one day a mustang was trying to keep up with me because of her big booty so when we got to the light and he rolled his window down I knew it was about to be on. You know this dude pulled up to ask me what the heck kind of bike is that? 😅. If you're thinking about getting one, think no longer and just go get it. I promise you, you won't regret it. Change the exhaust and get 5inch risers like I did and safe riding!
I had both, decided on the B King just for the more comfortable riding position. I actually liked the look of the Busa better. Also, insurance is more affordable with the B King.
I have an 07 B-King that I've owned since 2014. In the UK these were sold between 2007 and 2012. My bike is now worth about 50% more than I paid for it, because when I bought it they were still unpopular and it is only with the passing of time that people have realised what a damn fine bike this truly is. There are only about 600 of them in the whole of the UK, so it's great to have something rare and very different from "the norm".
See you binned the stock mirrors, good call. IMHO the stock cans have a "unique" look. Have both a 'Busa and a B...love 'em both. I recommend the Heal-Tec X-Tre. 4th gear mode truly takes the leash off.
I know this video is old but I just found B-King today and also found your video. I just wanted to ask how tall are you? I'm 6'7 and wondering if it would be a good fit. Thanks.
Hey man, awesome video and perfect timing. I'm looking to replace a Panigale with either the Hayabusa or BKing and will be taking them both for a test ride next week. Only concern with the BKing is the lack of fairing, as the commute is 170Km round trip. Safe riding.
If you are commuting that much and prefer the bking over the busa, I would get an aftermarket windscreen to help. but if I want to ride fast over a long commute, the busa to me is better due to the fairing.
@@602Busa Thanks man, I'll ride both then see. The BKing looks awesome with Two Brothers cans, whereas the 'Busa is stock. Although there is a tuned 'Busa also for sale elsewhere...
Graham Brown thanks so much for sharing this. Very glad you picked up a bike that you love and I’m sure you will enjoy. Are you adding it to the collection or have you already sold the panigale?
@@602Busa I've already sold the Panigale, but do have a Monster up in the barn that is being worked on in time for summer... Thanks again for the videos you post and safe riding!
This bike looks way better than the Busa! I hope they make a new version that looks like My GSX750S 👍 That would be a perfect right now to fight the KTM 1290!

Look up Busa to B-King conversion. I bet you’ll find something out there.
I like the crazy look of the stock cans.
Jimo368 they are a lil too crazy for me
I saw some black stock ones that didn't look too bad..but I also saw the stainless ones that stood out too much

Great rundown. I know it's an older video but still relevant, thx dude.
I'm still waiting for Kawi or Suzuki to make another naked standard bike featuring their biggest inline 4. How could you not like that?

I love my king and got it signed by Leslie Porterfield - whoop whoop ride safe great vid
The way you say "GooUuUd" at 6:19.. from the soul. I feel you feeling it.
Man you know its true!
Great video bro. I'm in Tempe Arizona, riding an 03 gsxr 600. Been considering upgrading to a B King.
its worth it. But a gsxr 600 is a fun bike too
Love this bike
i got a zzr1200, kinda want one of these for shorter trips since this one doesnt have as much fuel and really im a sucker for rare bikes
Chuffled it would be perfect for that. And yes. These bikes are rare in the US
Also the higher center of gravity and higher seat height makes it feel lighter than the Busa

70k miles since new and still loving it.

New sub right here, nice vid bud 👍

Actually, you were correct the first time. The Busa has the same engine as the B King. Not the other way around.
from what I understand, the 2008 b-king was setup using the prototype engine for the new "hayabusa"
@@602Busa The Gen 2 Busa used the upgraded engine from the original production B King.
Ive wanted one since they came out and could never get my hands on one.

The bking is a Suzuki? This is my first time seeing r hearing about this bike.
Lol
oh ya it's only been made here in the USA for one year...about 11 years ago.

I have both but for me busa is better
Where can I find one?
602 a bking will never be a busa and bking doesn't have a wind screen and trust me on the highway it will be a nightmare!
If I may ask, how tall are you ?
6'2
The b king is mutch more fun. You can drive places you never can on busa and its smaller. I love My b king. And I have gen 2 And gen 3 busa also
No wind protection
👌🚀

BKING BABY!
You now ho is the King.

I run my 2012 gen 2 with no fairings, 40% B king mode 😄
to each is own Hayabusa to d world
My Buddy tap down a busa and convert it into a street fighter then another friend showed up with a b king
I feel the regret in his face lol
