Neat video! Found this down my rabbit hole of watching Yugioh players learning magic.. It’s a neat idea to plant a card on opponents deck that upon draw could affect the battlefield! I love that idea
Personally for Joey Flame Swordsman in the anime was treated as a normal monster and NOT a fusion monster, so we can technically keep him that way. Thousand Dragon is tricky, in theory for this one, all you need is Baby Dragon on the field and use Time Wizard as a sorcery(which has 2 effects) Effect 1: flip a coin and if you guess correctly, destroy all creatures your opponent controls, but if you guess wrong, destroy all your own creatures instead. Effect 2: flip a coin and if you guess correctly, send Baby Dragon to the GY, and summon a creature from your library(deck) whose cost is 5 or more without paying its cost.
Underwood is sooo golgari insects i can't believe you. And Rex would be Gruul Dinosaurs, he always talks about power, which is more of a green trait than red. So leaving him as mono red wouldn't work.

@@speedrobo99 its cool I like looking up fan made cards from time to time, quality varies - to take any existing card from mtg and make it into yugioh/pokemon and/or any combo there of is a lot of fun. I really like it when other card games get mixed in - Startrek ccg from Decipher + Sailor Moon tcg + pokemon divide by magic and yugioh = ?!?!?! wait got to add in a dash of DBZ. At one point I played all those games and going from one to the other was at times like "Wait what game am I playing?!" hehe :D I just saw a video for mtg where the guy turned a deck into a "computer" - wacky!
Ol' Richie G printed gosh darn time walk, so heck yeah Exodia is on the table. Monarchs I think could be really cool. I'd have to think about specifically how I would bring over their tribute focused play.
As I said in the video, I took liberties with the design. No reason why takahashi wouldn't do the same for the sake of the story. He was a writer not a card designer. So I created my own value system for these cards just like takahashi probably would have.
I have 3 gripes about this vid rn. 1. Its a manga not a comic. 2. Also how come u changed up the stats of most of the monsters when u translated them into mtg cards. Yugioh = mtg stats r: 400 =1, unless ur gonna go by the anime LP which i wudnt. red-eyes black dragon = 6/5. Blue-eyes white dragon = 7.5/6.25, 8/6 Blue-eyes ultimate dragon = 11.25/9.5, 11/10 Dark magician = 6.25/5.25, 6/5 Relinquished = 0/0 3. Why did u change the effects of the cards and not apply an apropiate effect that reflects wat yugioh does differently with the monsters? To make as fair as a translation its kinda hard without getting into a little swampy of things but this is my take. "A final duel" (All creatures must attack other creatures unless they have flying. This creature is not destroyed when its toughness is 0, must be destroyed by an effect or battle. Immune to summoning sickness, but cannot attack on the 1st turn of the duel. When an attacking creature has more power then the defending creatures toughness, the excess power is dealt to the defending creatures controler as battle damage. This ability cannot be negated.) Relinquished "A final duel You can ritual summon this card with "black illusion ritual". Once per turn, you can equip 1 creature your opponent controls. This card gains x/x equal to the combined power and combined toughness, respectively, of all creatures currently equipped by this effect. While this card has an opponents creature equipped by its own effect, any battle damage you wud take from battles involving this card your opponent takes instead. This card cannot be destroyed while it has creature(s) equipped by this cards effect." Thats my take on the anime version of relinquished's effect when translated over to mtg. I just did some lingo tweeks.
