I first laid eyes on an Aerostar in 1976, as student pilot at Santa Maria Airport. The factory was next to the airport, so I was fortunate to see this wonderful and sleek airplane on a daily basis, either taxiing at the airport, or flying overhead on B1 flights. It was impressive then, and still is almost 50 years later! I've thoroughly enjoyed your video series about the inception and development of this fabulous airplane!

Another great interview with your dad. I learned a lot from each of the segments. Someday you will be able to look back and be greatful for the time with your dad and for committing his Aerostar memories to permanent internet history.

I remember seeing one on the cover of possibly AOPA magazine in the 70's, I was just starting to fly in a C-150 and it was impressive. Through some stroke of luck I've owned an Aerostar 600 for 31 years now. Love listening to your father, you are very lucky to still have him as he is still sharp as a tack. Tim McCollum N90509

Love to see this interviews with your fader, I learn a lot from it. One day I hope I will have time to be checked out in the Aerostar. One of the best aircrafts ever built. It's their someone who will do check out in Aerostar in ore around Florida?
I am from Norway, and it would have been fun to Wright a story about Aerostar for Flynytt in Scandinavia...

Hey Whole Lotta Ones' Not sure if you talked to Christie much about his winglets, but who designed them? Lednicer? BLR? Do they actually generate any lift or are they cosmetic? I always thought a span increase would be nice in addition to the VGs. Do we know who designed that dorsal fin some early 601's had?

Hello Eric, this is more of a general question for you. I’m a current Airline pilot looking into aerostars-never owned a plane yet but I love your channel but I’m new to it and still playing catch up. My question for you is it seems like almost every video you post is in a different Aerostar and I’m wondering how is that? Which one is yours? Also, can you provide any information on insurance cost to own one? Maybe a range of known rates you’re aware of based on what you know? Thanks in advance.
