I had my fire stick jailbroken by a friend of a friend. It's been working great until about a month ago. Suddenly it's no longer adding the newest movies in theaters and there are some black/blank spaces where thumbnails of movies should be. I was told by the friend who jailbroke it, never to touch any of the settings or apps on my device. So is there a way for me to reset my device and start downloading apps myself? If I do, will I need to install a vpn first and how do I know which apps to install in order to get the latest movies in theaters now? P.s. I'm from Canada. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! @@TheBigb1973 this removes the restrictions of me not being able to watch anything and I'm able to watch pretty much anything I want now. So thus I think it is. .. but whatever floats your boat.
Firesticks come preloaded with most of this stuff these days So there's no more "jailbreaking" 😂 And it's not a store.... you don't literally walk around inside shopping 😂

This is misleading. All your doing is downloading apk app. Nothing he showed is you access to all the apps on the firestick

You can change the settings and it will not mess up the 'jailbreak' done. If anything goes wrong, just set this up again.
