So while in Medellin Colombia, we couldn't resist going to explore Pablo Escobar's abandoned mansion. He's a very controversial figure in the country, so we're obviously not trying to glorify him or his history simply documenting his ruins.. and taking the chance to have some fun paint-balling.

Who are we?
Yes Theory are four friends from four different countries who constantly seek discomfort in order to grow. Ammar, Thomas, Matt and Derin met in Montreal, Canada in the summer of 2015 and bonded over their shared desire to live a life that challenged and excited them. Fast forward to a year later, the team is now based out of Los Angeles, making a show on Snapchat Discover.

The home we see in narcos when he’s poolside with gustavo and others is Hacienda Napoles, which included an air strip and zoo.
This mansion is different than that of the show (Finca de Manuela) and it’s located on a peninsula near Guatape. Still a gorgeous structure. I got to see it up close on a boat

I'm so happy that you were able to experience this yourselves and was able to not only shine light on all the great things about Colombia but also educate viewers on part of it's history. I actually lived in Medellin, Colombia for 2 months this summer and I went to Comuna 13, Guatape, Climbed that big rock, saw the amazing view, and saw this mansion from afar on the boat tour. It was so amazing and I think it's awesome to watch your experience in Medellin. I feel like I'm reliving it all over again

I'm from Bogota and I once went there with some cousins and we were hanging around all day like 14 years ago, and we found 5 bag with 2 grams of cocaine behind a rock. That was epic!

I grew up in Medellín, my dad was a Taxi driver once he had to go to this house to deliver a package. Unfortunately with these people you couldn't say no when they asked something so my dad had to go. He picked me up from school and he drove there with me. I wasn't allowed to leave the taxi offcourse but I saw these house and I remember all the security guys all over the entries and the roof, the house was beautiful tho.
