- Just before her death, Shannen Doherty recorded five to-be-released episodes of 'Charmed' rewatch podcast 'The House of Halliwell.' The actress and her former co-stars, Holly Marie Combs, Brian Krause and Drew Fuller, reunited to look back at the series. Episode one is out now, with an emotional introduction message from Brian addressing the death of their late castmate.
Shame on CBS for sitting on the rights and not giving us all the reunion we deserve. She said on this podcast she wanted to do a reboot! Shannen was brilliant in Charmed. She produced and directed some episodes as well. She made Charmed what it was! ❤ thank you for your heart!

I agree with that and also with the music…. I watch them anyways,but for the executive’s to change everything sucks, from the opening theme, once the episode began even the music had changed with all the tiles opening…
Charmed (TV Series 2018-2022) it had a rebooted series, but Shannen was not in it, or any of the original series actors, also I think The CW might still own the copyrights too charmed not sure, but anyway its fine either way with me, as a fan of the original and new tv series.
Shannen just had it, Charmed holds everyone’s memories who grew up watching it, she had that glow and magnetic field that got you so hooked on watching her, Her beauty, fashion and realness was just like wow. Everyone will miss her dearly 💔 Rip Shannen 🙏

I won't ever be able to watch Holly's performance in the beginning of Season 4 without thinking of how Holly is hurting 10×s more now. Because in the show, her performance was based on the true loss of Shannon not being on the show anymore. But now, it takes on a whole new meaning. Shannon & Holly were the hearts of that show. Now, one half will forever be missing. 😔💔

It is nice that a few members of the cast got together to do this and that they will continue on in Shannen’s memory. I need to watch their podcast even though I may cry. I cannot tell you how many times I have rewatched Charmed.

I am so rebingeing Charmed, RIP Shannen. I swear every time Charmed is on the channel in my hotel room I immediately go to it because it's a childhood artifact and holds very dearly to me. My favorite go to show on TV even now just as it was in my childhood along with sitcoms and ghost hunters today. Shannen was a national treasure and will be missed very much, I hope she's enjoying it in Heaven watching over us
This year has been sad for me, first Akira Toriyama passed away and now Shannen Doherty. My icons are passing away and it actually does break my heart even with all the stress I'm going through, it's the only things that have put me in tears this year
same words i thought.... its a bit of a surprise to me, how much Shannen's passing has really kicked me on the inside. I loved her from when i was a little boy, like 9 thereabouts. 42 now and shes one of my all time top 'Faves" - the best of the best that ialways have followed. in 90210, when she cried over kelly and dylan, i was soooo mad that i contacted channel 10 studios - via phone then later a handwritten letter (!) demanding for the storyline to be changed back. Of course i would have looked like a crazy teenager, I would have laughed at myself ! I was so ANNOYED, I so incensed at Kelly and Dylan and how the makers of my lifeline show could make such a huuuge mistake. Blamed dylan and kelly more however, and i forgave luke/dylan (with time) but Jennie aka Kelly...i still have some residual annoyance to this day.... the "I never want to see you again" Brenda said when they told her they were together all summer. That sealed it for me... and as ive seen, many other ppl on here and other sites /forums etc,
**90210 wasnt just a show, or just a phenomenon. It was lightning in a bottle x 100000, havent seen such exposure, merchandise, coverage, or love, of a show THAT much since. Many shows have had huge success but it was different. Friends, Buffy, heck even Twilight as a whole series - ive never seen such BLING for a show like it since. And no teen soapie/series of its kind ever came close.

Shannen (Prue) was my favorite character on the show. I've loved her since I first saw her in Heather's. I am so saddened by the news of her passing. I am so grateful that she had such a good relationship with parts of the Charmed cast.

It's unfortunate that Alyssa and Shannen didn't reconcile before Shannen's passing and that Alyssa didn't participate in this project. 😟 Rose would have been a great addition, too.
Side note: Drew Fuller is still smokin' hot.

Some people say that Chris takes after Prue, beaing dark haired and green eyed, and both having telekinetic powers. So my bet is that Chris would have been the favourite nephew.
@@DMontero17 I always felt that! Both Chris and Prue basically sacrificed themselves for their family. And his no BS delivery. I rewatched the entire series earlier this year and cried hysterically when that little girl had Prue’s power and closed the door 😭

She MADE charmed. Prue was my absolute fave! Before Shannon left she wanted the show to go a little bit darker which would have been awesome! But unfortunately it became so silly and way off the original roots of seasons 1-3.
S4 was pretty dark actually, the darkest of all the seasons tbh.

RIP. It might be selfish to say this but if only instead of that "reboot" they would have focused on something with the original cast instead. Now it's too late for the Charmed Power of 4 series we all wanted. CBS and all the networks screwed up by not doing something with the original cast instead.

The show was a worldwide hit and I would also like to honor her with this Magic spell in my native language. Shannen was the reason why I started watching Charmed. When I heard she was going to be in a show with magic and stuff I was like SOLD!!!! She was always my favorite on the series and I felt like the show lost something important when they killed off her character. I still liked the show and thought Rose did a fantastic job, but I have been a fan of Shannen's since I first saw her on Beverly Hills, 90210. She was a fantastic actress that I don't think ever really got the due she deserved. I think she should have had a much bigger career than she had, but a lot of what she did was so good I just loved watching her. It is a real shame that she is gone, it still doesn't seem real. I am so glad she got to do these few episodes before she died, but I wish she had been able to do so much more.

One time and it has Has not been that long ago I went online to charms and I wrote why don’t you bring back charms but have everyone that played in it before, older and their children are taking over fighting the Demons. With their guidance in helping them make the right decisions with their powers of fighting the demon. I would be so happy to see this come back. I love this show. I have it taped. I watch it every day, I believe I will always watch it and I am 70 years old now. 👍❤️🥰🐾❤️👍

Honestly and in tribute to Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause should consider continuing with Shannen Doherty’s wishes and give life to Charmed: The Next Generation where now they’re the heads of the Halliwell family and preparing the younger Halliwell witches for battles with evil and Trump. Why not? And if the Shannen family are agreeable, to posthumously honour Shannen Doherty as the lead Elder over Elders and White Lighters and have her voice in the show and have a brilliant white light to represent her. This could happen, especially if they keep with the light comedy OG Charmed had throughout, especially keeping Piper’s cheeky quips and dry humour. This could seriously work, and trust it’s just isn’t the original fans, those fans have children now, funny enough I have two nieces who weren’t even born when Charmed OG was on tv but they love the show and moan about why there’s no great show on tv now. The only thing, if Charmed: The Next Generation was to happened, fans won’t take kindly if Alyssa Milano was brought back, it’s bad enough we’re already living in a difficult world with so many upheaval going on every single day, we don’t need it in a fantasy show where we can escape from everything for 40 minutes. Divas are so 1990s and it would be so much nicer for people working behind-the-scene to have such a calm, happy environment to work in, also time has changed, Wicca is more spiritual now. In honour of Shannen Doherty, this project can happen and be a success, and no doubt if this happens Shannen Doherty will let her presence known as she said, she was at her most happiest in her career playing ‘Prue Halliwell’, which wasn’t long enough because of the ‘toxicity’ of one person. Anyway, at long last Shannen Doherty is resting in beautiful peace, so let’s get the show on the road, people…. oh, P.S. Charmed: House of the Halliwell sounds much better than Charmed: The Next Generation

I think this is so beautiful hearing and an experiencing .. I wonder .. what if we had a Charmed PS5 game so that the stories and characters live on .. allowing us to choose between the sisters we would like to choose to play. Something like a Tomb Raider or a Control type game having the support of the sisters regardless if it’s set to multiplayer mode or single player mode. If CBS won’t give us fans a reunion and respectfully without Shannon wouldn’t be the same but maybe virtually all sister could live on? If anyone has insight or know a direction to point me in hell I’ll pitch it! I love Shannon she was my favorite actress and Prue was my favorite sister I think this is such a cool way to honor her work and contribute her portion of contribution to her family in addition new storylines could be introduced pertaining to the Power of Four multiverse to continue on without the show itself coming back. I think if it’s done tastefully and to the concept of the show this could be a huge trilogy. Maybe all original actors could do voiceovers and one special actress to play Shannen’s voice. Bring Charmed to PlayStation!

Holly Marie was pregnant during a couple of the seasons, her pregnancies weren't just part of the script, she couldn't be the center of the show during her pregnancies, she needed time off to create life and ensure her babies were born healthy.

I am still boohoo crying, knowing that I will never get the chance to meet her in person, and or any of the other cast of this fantastic show, that I hold very close and dear to my heart. There's not too many Cons here in Miami, but only one that I know of and I was really wish, hope, and pray that any of the cast members of Charmed would showup, but no such luck. R.I.P. Shannen there can never be another Prue Halliwell like you.
i met her and got a picture with her and the charmed sisters and a picture with her with Jason Priestly at 90s con in March of 2023. she was amazing! especially months later we all found out she had brain surgery in January of 2023, She still showed up and was there for her fans!
