This is the last song we recorded together, back in 2019, with the video only now finished in 2024. It's an a cappella (take that, ukulele lovers) cover of the Colin Hay and Men at Work '80s hit which was featured in the SCRUBS episode "My Overkill."

RIP Sam Lloyd... you were hands down one of my favorite actors...
The character of Ted will live as a reminder of the importance of standing up for yourself in your job. Well, that and the source of a good laugh after a bad day. Absolutely agree - an incredibly talented actor and musician.
Still miss Sam a lot. Much love to the boys and his family, Thank you for sharing him with us.
Sam will never fade away. His music, comedic genius and spirit will live on for many, many, many more generations to enjoy.

"Hey Ya", "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", and "Take on Me" were key parts of my personal soundtrack throughout
my 20's.
Now married and in my 30's, I stillI play them very often -- especially for my two kids. My two year old really loves "Hey Ya.".

It's Sunday morning here in Austria (you know, the country with the cows in the mountains, not the one with the kangaroos) and I'm sitting here crying.
As a child, I spent my Sundays in front of the television. My parents and siblings were still in bed, everything was quiet. Just me in front of the TV. My favorite show back then (and to this day) was Scrubs. The mixture of witty dialog, funny characters and tragic and dramatic stories not only made me laugh, but also made me learn and understand what can be waiting for us out there in the world. That not everything is always black and white.
Now, 20 years later, it's Sunday morning again. Instead of Scrubs on TV, I'm watching this video on RUclips and fighting back tears and emotions. How I used to laugh with "The Blanks" and sing along to their songs.
I think it's time for a Scrubs rewatch. And I'm going to listen to all your songs today and sing along again, just like I did as a teenager.

i felt like being stung in my heart while watching this. thank you guys for all the talent and laughter you have shared with the world. i have spent the last 2 days listening to your music and skits. interestingly, i "remembered" some songs from my teenage years, from before i spoke proper english. so, for example, when "facts of life" came on, i danced and sang along with the same words that i had made up as a kid :D
appreciate you guys, please always take good care of yourselves. all the crying adults in the comment section should show you how dear you are to us.

One day someone somewhere will think of you for the very last time and then you will fade away from the world forever. Until then, if you have people who loved you, if you left art behind, your time on this Earth becomes much, much longer. I make an effort of remembering people I admire often, so I can bring them to life for just a little longer. The blanks is a band that comes often to mind, Sam will never fade away for his art was too good, and the people who loved him are too. R.I.P. Sam.

Oh my god, I'm literally sitting here crying. Seeing and hearing Sam and you guys feels like he's still with us. I can still remember vividly when I saw you at a gig in Switzerland in 2012. I was so looking forward to see you perform again and I still can't believe this won't happen again. Sam left us way too soon. I can't believe it's almost been four years. We miss you, Sam. I will never forget Manchester Uk 2011 very heavily pregnant with my first kiddo and going to with family to see you all and meet afterwards. It’s a night I’ll never forget, my child also remembers the night too 🤣 first time I watched scrubs with him (he was a little older at this point) he said I remember hearing these songs but I don’t know how 🥰. Sam you are very much missed by the blanks following that’s for sure 💜
