This also worked on my Lenovo ThinkPad P53s, thank you! I had updated the BIOS 9 days ago... I had to unscrew the case to get to the reset button because the hole did not go all the way through the case.

today i had this problem too. fixed just by removing the battery and waiting 2/3 minutes. the reset switch solution is a very welcome extra... thanks!
