We named him Christmas. The day we found this poor dog was one of the worst moment in animal rescue that I have ever had. He was chained to a tree even though he could not walk. His leg had been broken but his owners did not seek medical care for him so it healed improperly and he could not put weight on it. He was starving and covered in fleas. Thank God the owners agreed to let us take him and get him to a vet. He is now resting and receiving care for an infection. The leg will likely need to be amputated in the future.
