Hey guys! I've been wanting to post on your videos for a while now, and something I want to tell you about Chen is finally making me do it. I grew up in Richardson, (J.J. Pearce grad) right by where you are, but now I am an EXO-L mom living in Phoenix. Twice, I drove my daughter and her best friend to LA to see EXO and once to see SuperM. Best. Live. Shows. Ever. And, I even saw the likes of ZZ Top and Queen at Reunion Arena back in my day. I've got plenty more to say about seeing EXO live in general, and Kai specifically, but in LA, we were down in the pit, right by the stage, and when Chen would sing, we could hear his true voice over what was coming through the speakers. The tone, the clarity, the power, the vibrato that you get in the videos is all real, all him. I simply cannot tell you what it was like to experience that level of performance from a live vocalist. I'll be 60 years old on my next birthday and I am hard-core EXO-L, ride or die 'til the end, because the level of talent these boys have is simply insane.

I have told my daughters that the next time they are in North America, we will be going and I don't care where I have to go to make it happen. I am so jealous that you have had the opportunity to see them so many times.

There are 5 other tracks and you can find lyrics or lyric videos for them. There are 3 jrock songs (Break Out, Free World, Mirage of World) with themes of breaking free and forging your own path, and of the disappointment of encountering mirages in life. Then there are 2 really sweet, cheerful upbeat songs (My Sunshine and On the Road) which are about how our friends enrich our lives and are part of our journey in life.

I’m an Exo-L but not really a fan of slow and sad ballads, so I don’t often add Chen’s solo songs on my playlists (too slow and sad for working out or driving or hanging at the beach 😂). I very much enjoyed I Don’t Even Mind and Traveler from his previous album, though, and this whole Polaris album has a very interesting sound and production. Apart from Chen’s obvious vocal talent, it’s very clear he also has very good taste in music. He always chooses beautiful melodies that show off his vocals. CREAM SODA RECORDING BEHIND THE SCENES PLEASE!!! It is amazing to see Exo at work absolute masterclass
5 out of 6 of the album is about life friendship nothing about romance , only mirage of flower is about an passionate lover that a msn lost due to his busy life
