- Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima Japan
Today I visit the Children's Peace Monument in the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima Japan. This is a monument dedicated to Sadako Sasaki, a girl that lost her life to the after effects of the atomic bomb attack. She folded over 1000 paper cranes in hopes to have her wish of better health come true but unfortunately she loss her life. Her classmates dedicated this monument in her memory.
Send Your Cranes To Hiroshima
To send a thousand cranes to the Children's Monument in Hiroshima's Peace Park, string them on garlands of 100 cranes each, and mail them to: Office of the Mayor, City of Hiroshima, 6-34 Kokutaiji-Machi, 1 Chome Naka-ku, Hiroshima 730 Japan

I've been to Hiroshima and visited the Peace Park and Museum you've shown in your videos. It is a very moving place and despite the sorrow at the devastation and loss of life, the Park is a place of serenity and peace. I've seen many videos about the Hiroshima Peace Park, but It's a very different experience to see your video made by a young person about another young person who lost her life, but who has inspired so many people for so many years. Thank you so much for sharing this message of Peace with other young people.
I love the video it helped for my powerpoint presentation but as i read the book and found info about it Sadako was 4 when the bomb hit not 2 years old
Thank you for this lovely video and helpful information! ❤️✨

This video is very moving, sad, but an uplifting memorial that people won't forget the horror that happened here. Thanks for sharing this Chloe!
Origami is a characteristic art of Japan. Origami is the art of making figures by folding paper. You are so creative ingenuity!
Thank you for this video. I’m Dylan & Kait’s mom and I teach kids with autism. I have a student who dreams of visiting Japan. I’m going to share this with him. I think he’ll enjoy it, too.

"I don't want peace ! I want problems, always !" (meme 🤣). Now seriously: For as long as there's money to be made, greed will never end and so does wars. The solution is not to fold paper cranes, but to tear down all the money printing machines. Money separates the world into those that "can" and those that "can't." We are all humans, and we are one big family. Nothing should separate us from working together for the greater good of humankind. When all humans come together as one, we will see 1,000 cranes flying free in heavens...
