I still have my disc repair system like this and it works like a charm. I've repaired so many games and movies with it and it actually works... tho mine is electronic and came with couple different "grinders", one pair that's very coarse for deep scratches, one pair of slightly coarse for smaller scratches and one smooth pair for cleaning the disc once it's been smoothed over.

I use a headlight restoration kit. It has a velcro attachment that goes in a drill. 4 levels of sandpaper start at 400 800 1500 and 3000 grit and buffing compound. I used this method on a cd secured to a board with washer and nut and bolt and it I was able to take a severely scratched DVD and make it like brandnew.

Here's how toothpaste fixes the cd: Toothpaste is abrasive, if you get the right one. Putting it onto your lightly scratched cd sands away the layer to even the cd with the scratches. Google it for more info.

That’s because it is a plasticky piece of crap. This thing is even worse than the SkipDr, of which itself is bad enough as it is. If you want an authentic disc buffing machine, get the JFJ Easy Pro.

Did you read directions? You DO NOT wipe a disc in a circle, You wipe from center out.
SkipDr removes minor scratches. I had something like this once but it fell apart and it was no use for using something like this

What the hell, dont use a paper towel to dry it, use a lint free cloth, Paper towel would cause just more scratches, DUH!!!
The point of this was to TEST the Disc Repair System. Just buying a new one defeats the purpose of the video.
Spray bottles can't spray if the fluid can't get into the stem.
