Great video and comparison, thanks for posting. Just a note, the instructions for the smaller one mentions turning on the compressor prior to screwing into the valve stem to reduce the wear on the motor and preventing the fuse to go off.
If you turn on the motor first it charges the pressure in the hose and makes it difficult to screw on. I have no problem with it making the fuse go off. The trick is that i after i air down my tires to 15 psi. I have no issue screwing it on and then turning on the pump. While the pump is running the gauge will be higher, for mine 50 psi indicated while the pump is running, is actually 40 psi in the tire. Once i knew that i had no real issues with wondering what my air pressure is.
The screw on connector to the valve stem is kinda a pain. It works but it sometimes is hard to get my fingers between the rim of the tire and then screwing it on. There are ways around this but other than that this pump rocks. I bought the big one and like others have said the only thing that gets hot is right where the air hose connects to the pump
Not sure why you kept failing to check the tire pressure with the gauge that comes on the smitty, made for a poor review. By the way, pressure gauges do NOT read accurate when filling with air so I don’t know you kept referencing that
Can't get over how nice and similar that XJ build is to my own wow awsome rig!
Thank You
I love this compressor airs up both jeeps in about 15 min
Great video thanks for reviewing. Nice rig!
Oscar Jw thanks for watching!!!

Awsome dean!!
Is the VIAIR 400P worth $40 more than the Smittybilt 2781?
Fun fact...this is the same product as the Ironman 4X4 Air Champ Pro...just that the Ironman comes with standard fittings and a 25ft hose.
Thanks for sharing....
I bought the ironman in Dec of 2020 and it did not come with standard fittings. It came with the Japanese fittings. the thread is 12x1.25 fyi
Whats the lift and axle/gears for this jeep? or any vid of the build on it. Looks amazing
Sebastian Canter stay tuned and please subscribe as we will be release a walk around very very soon....
Do you know the warranty info for both compressors?
I believe it’s a year, but I brought the extended warranty though 4 Wheel Parts.
4:58 is when he starts pumping

Change to chuck/quick disconnect. The yellow line and gauge are garbage anyway I use different gauge and stronger/longer hose.
Where did you get the 2781 for $127?
Yeah, i was wondering that same thing. $127 is a very good price
what fender flares are those?
There Rusty’s Off-road, thanks for watching please remember to subscribe we have some new XJ videos coming soon.
