another tip that has helped me get substantially more value with tectonic shock was conserving dash to get a new angle to ult them from, its very unexpected and if you at least tag them once beforehand with ult, and they inevitably split into cover like the red sea you should and dash around their cover to confirm a second hit, plan out both angles before the engage and if they drop you to critical burrow away even if you still have charges left of ur ult, the space itself and surviving is more valuable then risking the force value from the rest of your already telegraphed ult. and eat rocks for good luck ig idk.
One trick I like for Dva is if you burrow as soon as you see her mech break, you can pop out at almost the exact moment she becomes vulnerable and she basically can't avoid it. After that, your weapon is fully reloaded and a direct hit can one-tap her without even needing to use your drill dash. Soldier and Ana aren't as easy a matchup as you'd think, due to their self-heal being just enough to invalidate the one shot combo and often leave them with enough health to retaliate or escape. I get more success waiting out those cooldowns before engaging. Moira too, since she heals by damaging you. If she has full health, engaging her is all but a guaranteed respawn. lastly, if engaging a tank, play near edges. Drill dash's knockback isn't affected by the tank's resistance, since they're physically being pushed by the animation. With good spacing you can wipe out most tanks and live to tell the tale. With bad spacing, you can at least make a good trade.
8:42 Another tip! Good Anas can time the burrow and sleep you the moment you come out. So, if you know she has sleep dart and want to attack her, you could come out of the earth a little bit early and she will likely miss the dart.
Wow you missed a major tip for queen. If you drill queen when she ults she wont move AT ALL with her ult and you'll be the only one hit by it, which is fine because you can simply burrow to cleanse it. Edit: Another 2 major tips missed for ball, venture is by far one of the best counters to ball ult as you can simply burrow and charge it up fully to DESTROY most of the mines since they only have 60 hp burrow is a 8 second cooldown while tectonic shock is a ult, prioritize using burrow for mines over their. Another tip is that your drill COMPLETELY stops balls movement and is basically a stun making venture a very good ball counter being one of the only heros who can reliably stop his momentum instantly (sometimes better than sombra because it can be done while being damaged unlike hack) Edit 3: A great venture tip for junk ult is to burrow near teammates and charge your burrow completely to oneshot junk tires, its not the most consistent thing and good junks wont let you do it nearly as much as more average junks but its still a great thing to know.
I find Venture's burrow pretty good against Junkrat's tire. I was able to destroy a JR's tire everysingle time in a game. just stay near your team, burrow, and when you hear it approaching you charge your jump and destroy it
3:12 you can also just burrow to the middle and a full charge will clear all the mines maybe 2-3 left 6:11 u also 1 shot the tire if u do a burrow attack I always bait tire or go to a ez tire target and protect em (I don’t think I’ve even had a junk land a tire while play venture and I’ve played 50 games so far)

If you're close enough to a tracer, you can shoot+melee+dash to still oneshot her
