Kayak Fishing - Winter Mackerel and Herring

With a great forecast I headed out on the kayak at dawn to do some lure fishing targeting winter Mackerel and Herring. It was a great day catching plenty of Mackerel and some Herring the Silver Darlings of the sea. Great weather, plenty of fish, and some much needed therapy in these troubled times. In addition to the fishing, I talk about how to tell the difference between Herring and Pilchards, which can be difficult to do at first glance.
