Beautiful! Your videos and music are wonderful! Your drone shots are the best. The underwater memorial is very touching. Thank you so much for sharing this part of the country. Take care.
hello from thr rainy Ozarks mark!! tablerock, bull shoals and norfork are blessed with a lot of islands like quachita water here is very high. ill be checking out the memorial . I heard about it but never knew exactly where. Ozarks lakes have several memorials to see in clear underwater planes caves boats . thanks for sharing. tight lines and cheers!
Blakey Dam is so clean and clear and is one of my favorite spots to go swimming. Thanks for taking us 24 ft. down. I've always wondered how the memorial looked and what it looked like down that deep! 🤗
It definitely is clean and clear. I like diving that side of the lake because of it. The memorial is something else. I was glad I got the opportunity to see it. Thanks for watching Kelly!
How crazy! My daughter and I paddled by you in our kayak last Monday. I remember your tent set up on the boat! I enjoyed the video as always! @ozarkoutside
Mark, you amaze me. What a beautiful place and a very interesting Memorial. You did such a great job filming outside above water and underwater. I think I'll remain camping on land. I've never really enjoyed the water that much have some sort of inborn fear of water. I sure enjoyed watching it though. Thank you for sharing.
I really appreciate your channel and thanks for sharing the memorial of another of American Hero that also honors the contributions of our World War II Frogmen from whence the Seals of today sprang. Your channel is always great content and I hope to meet you someday out on the road at a campsite near or far! Keep up the good work! See you down the road.
Great video! Love the memorial. Back in the late 80's me and my grandparents put our boat in at Buckville and drove over towards Mtn. Harbor for a fireworks show on the 4th of July ( don't know if they still do that). Me and my buddy dropped the grandparents back at the boat ramp and camped on one of the islands (great times). I'm heading back up for the first time since 93 in two weeks and will be disperse camping . I have enjoyed watching your videos as they remind me of some of the good times i had as a teenager being able to spend a lot of time up there! I have subscribed and like all the videos i watch. Thanks!
No, the forest aren't closed down. I have two channels, I've been posting videos on my other channel. Been very busy. LOL I'll be uploading a video on here shortly. Stay tuned!
I have not yet. But I have been eyeing it for quit a while. I'll be camping out in a campground close by it to do some spear fishing in a couple of weeks and was planning on scouting it out while I was there. I was going to see if camping was aloud on it since it's a national nature trail also. So you are saying camping is aloud on it?
Your channel will definitely grow .. there are a few of us faithful ones trying to help you .. great video, and certainly enjoyed the different content.. videoing the memorial is a great showing of respect to his wishes and those who fulfilled them .. the only way I’ll ever see his memorial, was by your video . Onward, Onward is the watchword .
I'm doing great. I've been working on my other RUclips Channel and relaxing on the lake for the past couple of months. LOL ruclips.net/channel/UCZOLNR8WySvzTYH4XvxCJjQ?view_as=subscriber
Really like both of your channels. You really helped me with the final decision on where to store my boat year-round. Quick question, do you just leave your vehicle at the ramp parking lot? If so, do you just pay the day fee for the number of days/nights you’ll be out there?
Thanks Donnie! I do leave my truck and trailer at a COE boat ramp over night. I have a life time Access Pass Card that I display in my windshield that lets me use the boat ramp for free. It's a little perk I get for being retired military. What you can do is pay the couple dollars at the pay here sign, or you can buy a yearly pass from any COE park attendant. With this pass, you can use any COE boat ramp for free, just display your yearly pass in your windshield, I think they run $40. I hope this helps.
Thanks! There is a local dive shop that maintains the memorial and weekly goes down and wipes everything down. I think in the winter months, they bring everything up and store it at their dive shop on display. There was a lot of lake, but it was very flooded. I've got a fishing trip planned the end of this month, planning on doing some spear fishiing.
You should be able to park at any COE boat ramps. You have to pay the boat ramp fee everyday to park there. I don't remember what it is. I have an access pass I put in the window, I don't pay the boat ramp fee. You can go to a COE office and buy an annual pass for your windshield, you'll be good to go.
@@PrimitiveOverland I don't want to give you any bad info. I would talk with a park ranger and see what he says. You can ask at the front entrance of any COE campground.
@@PrimitiveOverland I know you can camp for free here at Big Fir, right on the lake. You could possibly park at the boat ramp here. No fee. ruclips.net/video/-1KJxEeO3TI/видео.html
No. I haven't. I've just been hanging out on the lake a lot this summer. I've been uploading on my other RUclips channel for the last couple of months. Love the set up on your boat! Great spot!
Thanks! My next tent camping trip I will be definitely be bringing some A/C with me. LOL
You do it all. Thanks for taking us to the memorial. I would have never made it there. Love your videos
Thanks for watching Leah! I love diving and see whats below the waters of the Arkansas Lakes. Thanks for coming a long!
I camped on this island last weekend for 4 nights. It is perfect!
I definitely thought it was perfect also. Great spot to enjoy the water!

Great camping trip. 🙂👍😎
Yes it was!
Great video Mark. Your camera work is pretty darn good. The underwater filming is excellent. Thanks for sharing 🤝
Glad you enjoyed it!
I believe I just finished watching all your videos lol , great job !!! Never realized you could camp like that in those areas , thanks for the info !
Awesome! Thank you! It's a fun way of getting out of the crowded campgrounds and appreciating our national forests. Thanks for watching!

have you ever camped on sugarloaf mt. in the middle of greers ferry? that's one of my favorites since ive been blessed by not having any ticks on me

Hey, mark is there any cell service at Big fur public recreational area ? thanks for all you do.
Hello William! There is cell service at Big Fir. You’re going to really enjoy it there, right on the lake.
What a great set up on the boat. Did you pull the benches out to set the tent up?
Yeah. I took out the front two benches so I could have more space up front. Worked out good.

Very nice. Somebody must maintain the memorial to control algae growth. All that lake, a boat, and no fishing. Hmmm?
