Dragon Ball serves the purpose of being fun, adventurous, & intense action.
AOT serves the purpose of telling a focused story that’s grounded, while having stakes w/ mystery.
Either are bad, and either should be compared to one another
Dylan doesn’t take into account that certain anime’s had to be the style or pace they were because of the time period.
You can reduce a point off that cause it was something that couldn’t be helped, you have to just take into account the major moments

This is weird because y'all are on the cusp of a meta argument about the animation industry and its evolution.
Yet I haven't heard much about animators, producers, timelines, contracts ,TV networks, show distributors, practices & techniques, funding.... All of these things are components that build the foundation of what anime we receive. (Dark lights, I'm sure y'all feeling it)
Y'all should talk about that ish too. Arguments weren't bad, it's just hard to argue subjective points.
I think some common criteria and standards might help you guys. (What makes a good anime, good character development, good animation, etc).
Because the back and forth touches on things outside of the anime director's control sometimes 😂😂

oh hell naw naruto's weak point isn't pacing. it's fillers. if u disregard the fillers, the cannon eps r well paced & most eps have shit happening.
@@roxas4587 Nah bruh naruto takes half an episode on a flashback for us to see how lonely naruto was as a child for the milionth time, that's incredibly annoying. I got the cut version of the entire show with no fillers and couldn't finish the show regardless.
@@oldmanjesus9855 the show is like 430 cannon eps long bruh. ofc u gonna have many flashbacks. and the flashbacks happen during the height of fights as most villains r usually what naruto could've been, there is always a comparison. it just feels the flashbacks r alot but it really isn't when u take the total eps into consideration.
@@roxas4587 but the excessive amount of flashbacks really messes up the pace of the show. It gets incredibly disruptive, when you basically know about the character's childhood but you still have to put up with yet another emo flashback with Sadness and sorrow playing in the back(the song is fire though).

Attack on titan is better than dragon ball not more iconic or greater but it’s almost irrefutable how AOT is better
It’s really weird to compare these two to begin with. It’s like comparing Avatar the Last Airbender to Star Wars The Clone Wars. Both are great, but are completely different, that it’s just weird to say which is objectively better when they don’t share anything in common.

One Piece stands the test of time bc of its story. DBZ stands the test of time bc of nostalgia. There arent any young kids being like "hey lets watch dragonball Z!" today. They have fans. But its none of their favorite animes.
