I can’t believe that some places limit the amount of time to vote. I’m Australian so the registration and the party nomination declaration thing seems crazy. Is this still mostly accurate or have they changed it?

Yes, it is. But you don't have to vote for the party you declare.

@@sophierobinson2738 exactly just BCP you resister as say a Democrat. You’re not required to vote Democrat. However, you can only vote in the primaries if you’re registered to a party (and for that party)

When I first registered to vote they told me I had to register as a Republican or Democrat nothing else after a small argument they left me register as something else but they were not happy
