Even later he gained a secondary mutation that basically made him a living tree and also made him insane and he killed a young student named Sammy Pare. He lost the secondary mutation during M-Day and regained his sanity.
This, plus numerous other errors in this video, like thinking pictures of Garrison Kane were supposed to be Rusty Collins. They don't know what they're doing over at Looper.

He was actually just chosen because his kids liked the first one and it was a Easter egg made for them. Ryan Reynolds and Paul Wernick even said so in interviews. Wernick used to be Pitts stunt double and they wanted a cameo from a huge celebrity so they reached out to him as a friend and he agreed.

I thought the same thing. I mean, the comic lasted how long? And killing off a shitload of cool, interesting characters right away, in a Deadpool movie, I didn't think it was a creative twist, or brilliant, like some have written, I thought it was predictable, lacked imagination, because it's a DP movie AND because of the abrupt offing in the comics, and kind of a cheap move for some violence and humor, and really wasted an opportunity to expand these characters, because they are such a good fit with DP, and make a couple really cool movies.
I loved how there were so many references. It felt like they actually know the source material. It's a shame most of them were fodder, but I think it added character to the movie.
I hate that feeling when you watch a movie where the character is a big part in it so your used to them NOT dying but when you watch things like DP2 you feel sad for some unknown when they die quickly
If you saw the picture Ryan Reynold's posted on his twitter. The cartoon one with hundreds of movie character references, then you'd see Spiral in it, the only character in the picture that hasn't got a film debut yet, so yeah, Mojoworld characters may show up in X-force.

The narrator got a few bits wrong on Zeitgeist. He was aware much of his team would die in the Boyz-r-Us massacre but Coach (The Arm) probably set the events in motion. He was unaware he'd not survive. Further, X-Force is a shared name in this run. Domino and crew actually show up to challenge the X-Force team in the comic about the name. The comic's X-Force eventually changes their name to X-Statics (Statix?). The series is available in a popular edition and is one of my favorite runs of any series ever. I highly recommend it.
Idk if anyone else noticed, but I just had an epiphany and realized that the route 116 tattoo on Zeitgeist's left shoulder was a subtle nod to his first comic appearance. Said comic being X-Force #116, it's been in my face for ages but somehow it took me until now to notice.
Of all the things here I "didn't realize", the only thing I didn't actually realize was that Russell was supposed to be Rusty... and yet they used him without bringing in Skids.
I hate how there are enough posers out there who don't read comics that a whole market had popped up just to explain basic concepts and characters to movie fans. If u don't know who batroc. Is don't watch a " batroc the leaper origin. Explained " and then act like you have read his books. Seeing Terry crews crash through that bus was the hardest and kinda funny thing I've ever saw. Mostly bc he's an Expendable. Just saw it today and had the feeling that most of them wouldnt make it to the ground. I was unprepared for how they wouldn't make it.
Even if not mentioned they all had their actual origins. While not stated because of rights reasons, the Juggernaut is NOT a mutant in this movie. He is the Campion of Cytorak and such his powers are magical in nature.
I felt like they wasted Bedlam and Zeitgeist,a guy with power to alter electromagnetic fields and another one with the power to spit acid vomit are pretty useful in a battle,imagine the damage they could do,I felt like they somehow overpowered Domino since she rarely uses her powers in the comics,she usually relies on her guns and martial training.
I knew most of them was gonna die. But I though Bedlam and Shatterstar would actually kick some butt before dying. Not die right away. But still loved how it turned out. Lol
Not a shame at all. The team dying was arguably the best part of the movie. It's also very, very rare for a movie to conceal things like that going into premiere night. So excellent job by all involved to conceal 1. Those awesome deaths 2. The Juggernaut 3. Brad Pitt's involvement

since deadpool went back and saved vanessa from dying, the xforce was never created, so all the members are still alive.
I can't wait to see it...I hope the fight with Juggernaut was good. I would have loved to have seen him and Hulk go at it in a movie

The comic's X-Force eventually changes their name to X-Statics (Statix?). The series is available in a popular edition and is one of my favorite runs of any series ever. I highly recommend it.

Idk if anyone else noticed, but I just had an epiphany and realized that the route 116 tattoo on Zeitgeist's left shoulder was a subtle nod to his first comic appearance. Said comic being X-Force #116, it's been in my face for ages but somehow it took me until now to notice.

I hate how there are enough posers out there who don't read comics that a whole market had popped up just to explain basic concepts and characters to movie fans. If u don't know who batroc. Is don't watch a " batroc the leaper origin. Explained " and then act like you have read his books. Then again what with how the big two keep pushing events and hopelessly pandering to an audience that resents them, maybe it would be better just to stop.
Same goes for Shatterstar. Pretty much half of the people who like or "know" Shatterstar this generation are the ones who only like him cuz he's gay (or bi idc). They never really cared about the character itself, but it warms my heart seeing oldschool comic-book readers getting excited for Shatterstar.
Why am I typing this, I literally found out about Shatterstar when the Deadpool 2 trailer came out, but got interested about his wild and crazy backstory.

Even if not mentioned they all had their actual origins. While not stated because of rights reasons, the Juggernaut is NOT a mutant in this movie. He is the Campion of Cytorak and such his powers are magical in nature.

I felt like they wasted Bedlam and Zeitgeist,a guy with power to alter electromagnetic fields and another one with the power to spit acid vomit are pretty useful in a battle,imagine the damage they could do,I felt like they somehow overpowered Domino since she rarely uses her powers in the comics,she usually relies on her guns and martial training.
I think it would’ve been cooler if Cable went back in time further and brought back X-Force to fight in the final battle

Not a shame at all. The team dying was arguably the best part of the movie. It's also very, very rare for a movie to conceal things like that going into premiere night. So excellent job by all involved to conceal 1. Those awesome deaths 2. The Juggernaut 3. Brad Pitt's involvement
All the dead xforce members will probably end up back alive in the xforce movie. So it's all good
