I am reading The Bible in 30 days. Today we read Exodus 30-Leviticus 27 - The theme is "THIS IS WHAT IT TAKES"- This outlines the OT regulations for relationship with God. It as IMPOSSIBLE to meet.. so thank God he sent Jesus for us.

Thanks for sharing your insights, I really learned a lot from day 3. I am in awe of the detailed thoughts and commands that God has for us. You highlighted the grace of Jesus, but my theme was the Fear of the Lord - Proverbs 3:9 I want to obey God’s commands because I am a friend of God and trust his provision, but inevitably I fall short of the glory of God. I can trust Jesus with my salvation and sanctification. I will have reverence for the Lord because that is the beginning of wisdom and I am thankful for Jesus, the lamb of God who takes away sin.
