Harman Kardon HK-705 Cassette Deck Revival

A Harmon Kardon drawer loading cassette deck; I got it 'for parts or repair' on eBay for $20. I thought it would take more effort to get working judging by the number of screws that were missing, someone obviously had a go at it before.
I can't find much information about this cassette deck online, at least in the usual places, and I have very rarely seen one with a CD-like drawer mechanism. It adds fair bit of complexity to the deck, and they've packed it in quite tight, most other decks I have taken apart have lots of open air inside the case, but not this one.
And yes, I have replaced that wire with an appropriate resistor, it needed a 4.7 Ohm resistor. Adding it simply reduced the vigor of the motor as it pulls the cassette in.
